Wonderful morning. Bright, cheery and cool. Perfect temperature. This is supposed to be one of my favorite type weeks weather wise.

Morning gang
Sunny here in NE Indiana. Should be nice and temps in the mid 40's. We're going to the home and garden show today and also go visit the campground to see if our tree of despair has been taken down.

Morning guys..... just barely..... I slept in this morning. The weather is pretty nice already, upper 60s headed for low 80s. I'll go out to the garage and do some more cleaning on the car....I got the inside of the pickup done yesterday and gave the outside a "spit clean" as it wasn't all that bad. I'm thinking I'm going to clay the Corvette and give it a little buff and wax.

After church tomorrow, we will head to Rosie's dad place, spend the night and go on to Wichita on Monday for my post-op check.

Well, I hope all of you have a wonderful day.

Hernia therapy? Don't get too aggressive or there will be a price to pay.

I put the GS on the charger and it was not hardly low at all.....so looking forward to taking it into church....

Still waiting for brake parts to show up.....did I say I went with the DBA XS drilled an slotted rotors and the Hawk HP pads...or paddlets in this case.....

Got them in a package deal from Maryland Speed Shop.....nobody could touch them in price. Got the black hat XS rotors and pads and SS lines for 850 bucks delivered....... that was 200 to 400 dollars cheaper than anyplace else...... just saying......

the shop downtown wanted to sell me just off the shelf rotors and pads only for 900 bucks.....

Might be worth a look if your are thinking brakes on your C5's or C6's.....

Front pads from local dealer were quoted at 398.65 for the pair....... yeah....that did not happen..... The DBA rotors were a bit more but cool significantly better then stock and are what was recommended by the think tank over on the other forum....... just thought you should know all this...

OK, a bit of elbow grease today. Rosie comes out and asks "Why are you doing that? It looks perfect now." I told her I hadn't clayed it in a long time. It did 'look' pretty good, but I knew it wasn't good.

This was brand new piece of clay.

A friend stopped by with his son and grandson. They don't live in town anymore but were here this weekend to see their parents. His son just loves me. When he got out of the car and saw me, he came flying in and gave me a huge hug. I asked them if they wanted to sit in the Corvette....Oh yea they did.

They had a great time.

THE BD BASH WENT WELL, LOS CABOS EITHER HAS NEW MANAGEMENT OR A NEW COOK, THE FOOD WAS PRETTY GOOD THIS TIME. I'LL REMOVE THEM FROM THE "PLASTIC" CLASS :-)

DIDN'T SEE ANYTHING I WANTED AT THE GUNSHOW, THEY HAD A GOOD CROWD.

I was standing at the bar of Terminal 3 in the Los Angeles International Airport when this small Chinese guy comes in, stands next to me, and starts drinking a beer.

I asked him, "Do you know any of those martial arts things, like Kung-Fu, Karate, or Ju-Jitsu?

He says "No, I don't. And furthermore, why the hell would you ask me that? Is it because I'm Chinese?

"No", I said, "It's because you're drinking my beer, you slope-headed little shit."

Good Evening CGs!

It was sunny but cool today. Worked in the garage and played outside with the kids. The pool cover got a nice sized rip in it so I had to drain that today. Still a few more months until it's time to open it up, though.

Marcus, that's a big chunk of change for an average guy, but not for a Guru of your stature

TB - looking good. I need to do mine one of these days.

Hope everyone had a great day!

Yeah putting brakes on a C6 can get spendy........ the stock replacements form the Chevy Store would have been over 1200 bucks and that is just parts....... of course the drum brakes on a C4 are fairly cheap to replace.....
