My very sick Corvette friend that I mentioned visiting last week passed away this morning. Even before I knew, I could sense it. I did a quick Google search of recent obituaries an hour or two before I got the email from the woman who is the unoffical "den-mother" of our local NCRS chapter. I am so grateful that I got to see him last week and tell him some things that I believe he needed to know.

THINGS LIKE THAT ARE REALLY EERIE JOHN---
ONE AFTERNOON AT WORK I GOT A SUDDEN URGE TO GO SEE MY MOTHER IN THE NURSING HOME. I WENT BY ON MY WAY HOME; SHE SEEMED OK, MORE "AT HERSELF" THAN USUAL, AND KNEW WHO I WAS. THAN NIGHT AT SUPPER THEY CALLED AND SAID SHE WAS DEAD.
SURE AM GLAD I WENT.

SOUNDS LIKE IOWA IS A GREAT PLACE TO BR HOSPITALIZED :-)

Greetings! Another dreary day (getting tired of that), but they say it may burn off and be sunny and 45 later, and 50 tomorrow. Naturally the bottom is scheduled to drop out of the thermometer after that. Ick.

Have a good one, yawlz.

Hey guys... Been busy since the time I got up. Met the plumber and he got going re doing all the galvanized pipes. I got some more of the stuff torn apart. Getting ready to put in some blocking in for hand grab bars.

Got to get back to it, just stopped for a bite.

Very sorry to hear of your friend's passing John. Those 'feelings' we have are indeed strange.
A little on the gloomy side here today but busy at the office and that's keeping me inside so I don't notice.
Pool liner was installed yesterday, concrete repairs underneath were done and the filling process began. That'll change the look of everything. Wondering if the darker color will mean warmer water? Now to do concrete repairs on deck and go from there. Discovered a busted pipe in the pool house - add that to the to-do list

My butt is dragging this evening. Because of some of the subs I'm using are moonlighters, I didn't finish up today until after 8:30pm. My electrician is moonlighting this job, the sheetrock guy too, and both were over to look things over. That kept me there until late. At least the plumber got most of his stuff done today, just waiting on the shower base to be installed so they can hook up the drain and I can't install it until the supplier delivers it out to me tomorrow.

John, sorry to hear about your friend.

Brad - pitboxes are supposedly popular in racing and certain industries. You should see the big snap on pit boxes that are close to $20k!

Off to bed. Hope everyone had a great day!
