Tommy, I responded to your last comment yesterday. But I will say it here today as well. You are correct, not that long ago, I too, was a moonlighter. I wasn't complaining about these guys, they are the guys I chose to do the work. And I know the quality of work they do, so I am happy to do what I can to get this lady the bath she wants and deserves. I apologize to all who read that post yesterday and thought I was complaining, I wasn't. Just stating facts.

It's a cold start to the day, but it is supposed to warm up into the upper 60s. I will work on building cabinets today for the bath remodel job. I have the vanity done and the base of one other cabinet. I need another base and two uppers to complete the cabinets. Materials came yesterday on the truck, so now I can complete those.

I hope that everyone here has a wonderful Wednesday!

Each day I seem to fall further behind. I did get to work on some of the weed wackers and pole saws yesterday. Nursery duty late in the day today and should be there only an hour or so. Stayed up late got up late. I really need to not do that. Need to go to bed by 11:30 or so. I always end up pushing it to 12:30 or sometimes later. At least I sleep. I have friends that only sleep a few hours a night or less.

tee, I took it as a minor complaint about the late hour in the day.

IT'S A FOGGY MORNING IN THE NATIONS, COOL AND CALM. WE GOT THREE AND A HALF INCHES OF SLOW RAIN IN THIS GO-ROUND AND THE GROUND IS PRETTY WELL SATURATED. THE CHEROKEES THINK THIS IS ALL TO THE GOOD.

NOTHING ON THE AGENDA, ANOTHER DISMAL, GRAY, TWO NAP DAY LIES AHEAD.

Good Morning CGs!

It's been pretty chilly here the past few weeks. Today should finally warm up a little to the mid 50s. I need some nice spring weather.

Monday night I made it over to my buddy's house to check out the tools and boxes he picked up. I helped him sort out a few things, identified some mystery tools, and gave him ballpark values of everything. He's already sold some of the bigger shop equipment off and made his money back so he's happy. He just wants the smaller stuff that he can't use gone. Only a small amount of Snap On stuff, unfortunately. Since he wanted it gone I bought a small cardboard box with some tools. He would only take (less than) 1/2 of what I told him to sell them for online. He wanted me to flip them because it was too much work for him. So I walked away paying $150 and it worked out for everyone. I've already sold everything except for a couple of little items I kept for myself. Bojo plastic prybars, some snap on odds and ends. Not bad.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

I need that pit pox! Actually found one locally for sale black 6-drawer, not a pit box but good for what I want. the top is metal and split and slides open so I can put things in there. The garage is all mine and I want to put it on one wall and put a peg board and another shelf above it where I can put the battery chargers and what not. The box is around $2800 or so new and they're selling this one for $1200. BF made the mistake of telling me that since he can claim some tools on his taxes that.... and before he finished the sentence I had picked out a truck load of crap I will never ever use.
Raining here today, pool is almost full thanks to mother nature's help. Whatever those vacuum things were they used to suck the air out between the concrete and theliner, they need to leave me one. With that thing running outside, it was the exact opposing frequency to other things I hear and I slept like a dead rock.
Onwward and upward y'all. Have a coach bus, a trailer, an F1fiddy, a sonic store in Alabama and a few other things to get to.

I'm pooped again this evening. Just worked on the cabinets today, only went out the the house one time to drop the shower components. I went down to see if they were going to deliver the components, and the 'boss' was gone (wife in hospital) I asked if they were going to deliver the stuff today and was told "I'm not comfortable about running that fork lift. But you" (talking to me) "have run that lift before, and I'm sure he wouldn't care if you used it to take it out." So I said, you bet, I'll take it out. So they got things ready foe me to take it out. So all I did was pick up the pallet and run it out to the house. Then back to the shop to work. I got the cabinet boxes assembled. Tomorrow the face frames and doors are on the agenda.

I led the Stations of the Cross this evening, tomorrow at 6 we have Holy Thursday service and then noon Friday, Good Friday services. Busy week ahead.

Looks like a pretty good sized snake to me. I wish I had room for a box like that...but no way that can happen,
