A good nuclear dust cloud of proper proportion could surround the earth, shielding it from the suns rays especially during high sun spot activity. Too much dust would plunge us into another ice age. We could have the same effect if a meteor of good proportion slammed into one of the worlds deserts. I think it comes from too many people, too many cows, too many pigs and chickens and generally to much unprocessed waste. That's why global warming is really a bunch of shit.

Morning guys....slept in an extra hour. It's pretty cold here this morning for April. But they say the south winds will bring us mid 70s temps today, that's a 50 degree swing if it gets there.

I will work in the shop today and make a run over to the house where I am re-doing the bath to do a couple things. But mostly, I will be priming and painting the cabinetry for it.

Later guys, have a great day.

Vettebabe makes a good argument... It's not that far fetched. It may not be the cause, but it sure could have been an accelerating factor.

Spent the weekend fixing my wifes computer... as usual, it blew up another hard disk, this time a solid state drive. I did some basic cleaning and non-related maintenance, and the damned thing wouldn't boot up!!! After research, it appears as if this specific model is prone to such failure. I get a new drive and a fresh copy of Win 10... and this neat product called "Zinstall Migration Kit Pro". This is bad ass... it migrates the installed software!!! Not the bad OS, but the working software.

It takes some time to run, but that's better than the alternatives.

SAME MISERABLE WEATHER AS YESTERDAY, EXCEPT NO WIND. AND THEY ARE PREDICTING A FREEZE TOMORROW NIGHT. IN OKLAHOMA YOU'RE NEVER SAFE UNTIL AFTER TAX DAY.

LOOKS LIKE WE WILL GO TO TEXAS TOMORROW, I HATE THAT DRIVE DOWN 75/69 FROM MCALESTER TO RED RIVER THROUGH ALL THE SPEED TRAP VILLAGES. THINGS GET MUCH BETTER SOUTH OF THE RIO.

AND THEN THE BIG TULSA GUNSHOW IS THIS WEEKEND.

Greetings! The grindstone is turning at warp speed, with interruptions galore, just for fun. So far I have not been able to touch what I intended to start working on 2 hours ago. Ducky.

Enjoy your day, Gurus!

make sure you have your V1 on Gris..... I never leave home without it......not that I speed or anything........I just like to know who is checking up on me......no really! I never go much more then 5 over and sometimes 10 out in the great American west where the speed limit it 80 mph anyway......best thing about that is very little traffic.......

the weather is absolute crap.......I mean it could be December here and not looking to improve for maybe 2 weeks.......farmers are starting to head back into their caves to sleep........ but the minute it warms up all hell will break loose.......and we will be behind....... I blame it all on nature doing her thing........you notice its Mother nature not Father nature......meaning that....I better not go into that...... In recorded history we have had some of the most temperate weather over the last 150 years as anytime on this planet.....so we may be headed to the bad old days......

Have a very very nice day Guru's.....

Andy, the nuclear issue being sort of a 'starting accelerant' to this was what was in my brain. You expanded on that. Otherwise, yes, too much unprocessed waste. I see things headed to the landfill on my way to the body shop on my 2 days there and just shake my head. I'm one person and can't fix it and toss things myself that could be up/recycled. We all do. Makes me ill to think of all the stuff there that could be more properly disposed of, etc.
Gloomy day here and I'm off today too. Needed it - I need to sleep, didn't last night - seems as though I was "aware" of things all night. Have a ton that needs done around here - clean my yard mess up, clean pool house, water all the plants since I STILL can't put them outside, shock the pool since rain is coming, some grass seed needs put out, spare bedroom needs cleaned out, I'd like to move the living room around. None of it will probably happen.
Happy Monday....

Good Morning CGs!

Cold start to the day here, as well. It was about 28* when I got the kids out of the house and off to school.

Doing some menial tasks now; dishes, cleaning, laundry. Lots of fun.

Had a nice Easter and spent time with the extended family. Glad that's over Back to the daily grind.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Back to work today with snow on the ground but not the streets. Suffered some kind of allergic illness over the weekend but better now. At least I finally got the rear hatch on the Suburban fixed. It kept causing the VAT system to go off when the key was used to open any doors. I hope it Stays fixed. You guys and gals all have a good one!

Well, we started out this morning at 23...this afternoon it got up to 84 a freaking 61 degree swing in about 9 hours. I got all the pieces primed today, we'll see about putting on the color tomorrow. It is supposed to only be mid 50s tomorrow.

We went on a bike ride, it was a short one as my arse isn't ready for a long ride on that seat.

Rosie leaves for meetings in Wichita in the morning until Thursday. I'll be batching for a couple days.
