BIG CHANGE OF PLANS, DARLING WIFE GOING TO DALLAS BY HER SELF, WILL SPEND ALL DAY WEDNESDAY WITH THE BIRTHDAY SISTER AND COME BACK THURSDAY. I'LL STAY HERE AND DEAL WITH THE SHEETROCK REPAIR THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN YESTERDAY.

Tonight: Snow, mainly before midnight. Low around 9. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

Morning guys....Yesterday was beautiful, 85 and light breezes. Overnight, someone left the north door open and a howling wind came up dropping the temps back into the low 30s and the winds gusting to 60mph. You'd think that this would blow up some moisture....not out here it doesn't.

Rosie is off to Wichita for a couple days, so I will be batching. Don't think I'll be doing any painting today as the wind won't allow me to open the garage door and it's too cold. I'll run out to the house and remove the old vinyl flooring and try to prep the sub-floor for the new flooring.

Brad, 10-15 with gusts to 25? Heck that's a normal day for us! That's about what we had yesterday when I said "light breezes", that's about what we had. Granted, we didn't have any snow along with it and I surely feel for you guys for that. Wish it was us getting that snow.

Cold.....snow in forecast.....windy.......very windy......WTF..... I am going to head back to the cave somebody set the alarm for when its warm out.....

Have a day of contemplation Guru's........ on why we live in this frozen wasteland....... geez.......

Some of that wintry spring must be wished upon us as well. We're still waiting on our normal spring, a month late. They're calling for snow here Saturday. We're all mad. I need a depression pill and a xanax. I can't handle it. Wind gusts here today, slightly overcast but warmer. Plants will perk up then die again, two in the bedroom I need to put out, they get new leaves then die and leaves get yellow and fall off. It gets warm, they grow again then it starts over. I want my house back all this mess is 2 months late going outdoors.

Hot and humid, sunny with a light breeze. Has to be mid 80's +. Me no likey. Me like 65 lo 78 high.resigned to the fact that it could be worse ..... like 9*.

Had to drive over to the 'city' to pick up some stuff for the bathroom project. The freaking wind about blew me off the road a couple times...literally. Had to be some of those 60+mph gusts they were talking about.

I bought 3 sheets of 1/4" underlayment, not really looking forward to taking it out of the pickup and into the house. I'm afraid if the wind catches one of those sheets, I might end up in Oklahoma in about 30 seconds.

Looked at the 10 day forecast. Upcoming week has lows of 70 with a high of 89. Not a big fan of nearly 20 degree swings. Looks like there could be a chance of afternoon naps with an increased exposure to air conditioning.

20 degree swing? Yesterday we had 61 degree swing from a low (24) at 7am to high (85) at about 4pm. Today the high was 49 and 60mph gusts. Just another day to day in SW Kansas.

I did get the underlayment down this afternoon. Luckily, I was able to do the cutting outside but in a protective area so the wind, which is still howling, didn't affect me too much. The sheetrock guy came and put another coat on, he told me he should finish up tomorrow. I have my friend coming down Saturday to help me install the shower walls. The client left for Wichita about 5pm as she is having a total knee replacement done tomorrow and she won't be back home until Saturday. I told my buddy, it would be nice to have the shower walls installed when she gets home. Rosie will be home Thursday night, she's wanting to help me paint the walls before we install the shower.

It finally stopped snowing enough to get out and clear off the driveway. I lucked out - #1 son offered to go out and do battle with it. I cheerfully accepted the offer ;-)

In case none of you saw my FB post, we had sizeable hail, plenty of it, high winds, tons of rain , and now it's cold.
I'm wet and frazzled, the dog needs a Xanax and BF his on his way home and will want supper.
The windchime on the front porch sounds like the same one from the movie 'Tornado' and I'm ready for bed.
