GOOD MORNING ALL, IT'S A BEAUTIFUL MORNING IN THE NATIONS, SUNNY AND COOL. PREDICTED HIGH OF 80 AND WESTERN OKLAHOMA CLASS WINDS TO LOOK FORWARD TO.

RAN THE TRUCK THRU THE CAR WASH YESTERDAY AND WHEN I GOT THE OIL CHANGED I NOTICED A NEW PARKING LOT DING ON THE RIGHT REAR FENDER. GOT IT AT THE GUNSHOW, I GUESS. THE TRUCK IS GETTING A LITTLE RAGGEDY BUT I'M NOT GOING TO SPRING FOR COSMETIC BODY WORK ON A TEN YEAR OLD TRUCK.

THERE IS A LONE CROW HANGING AROUND THE AREA, DON'T KNOW IF IT'S GOT A NEST CLOSE BY OR IS JUST AN OUTCAST. I LOOKED UP IN THE WOODS BUT COULDN'T LOCATE A NEST FOR SURE. THERE ARE A COUPLE OF POSSIBILITIES.

Hiday-ho! The weather geniuses are saying we are supposed to get somewhere between 2 and 20 inches of snow this weekend, and they say another such system may be brewing 9 or 10 days out. Kill me now.

Your truck is just getting broken in, Gris ;-)

Snazzy outfit you had back then, Tommy - I am sure I had several similar ones. We will have our 42nd anniversary later this month. Good lawd!

Enjoy your day, Gurus!

Happy birthday, Marc. Been busy since early on. I got things done in the shop and then went over to the remodel and installed the sink, the drawers in the vanity, trim painted and a couple of the floor pieces I had left. Still a couple more floor pieces to get down.

Well, I better get to it....quitting early so we can head to KC as soon as Rosie gets home.

Happy birthday, Marcus.

Knowing Tommy's propensity for saving things...I bet he still has that outfit

From yesterday...

Works great on children, too!

Got a cage for the dog today. So cage training will begin.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Never been a big fan of caging dogs for the long term. I prefer to give them a room.

Well, pretty much done with the major stuff at the remodel. Plumber coming in to hook things up while we are gone to KC. Rosie will be home pretty soon, so we'll hit the road. Client is very happy with the bathroom so far.

It's mid 90s today, but the wind in't blowing like they predicted....yet. Probably start up about the time we leave....just my luck.

I may check in later when we get to KC. Have a great rest of the day.

Happy Birthday Marcus!!!! Best wishes for you today, celebrate well!

Beautiful nearly 80 degree slightly breezy summer sunny day here. And I've been tied to a desk and not been outside all day, but I'm bout to. Have to make a trip to the post office to send off the Medicaid papers. The lawyer faxed them already said "I've caught them lying before". So off they went from his office. I'll send the back up the normal way. Tax checks go in the mail this weekend. Leaving tomorrow after work with Angie headed to Gulf Shores. Stopping at the dog track for a free buffet and quick play then on down to her parent's somewhere in Mississippi three hours away to stay for the night. Get up early Saturday and head on down to the condo. Others there are due out by then so should time it just right. Weather won't be perfect but we won't be at work so calling it a win. Styx/REO concert at the Wharf in Orange beach that night if weather holds, rest of the week playing as we go.
Everyone have a good evening, laundry doing and clothes gathering later.

Yippeee! The golf balls I ordered came today, as did the lawn fertilizer I bought from a high-school fundraiser. Now I just have to wait until August when the snow is gone to use them.

Happy Birthday, Marcus - I am hoisting a Surly Furious in your direction as we speak.

Safe travels, Tom!

I've been told that dogs like their crates, because they are den animals. Our last dog had one, and she liked to sleep in it. Come to think of it, she would sleep damn near anywhere.

Styx/REO played at our company's customer conference some years back, and they put on a good show.

Everything I'm reading says the dogs love the crates once they're used to them. It basically becomes the dog's private space.

TB, I'm a little disappointed in your choice to use an outside plumber. Especially considering how much you love Plumbing.

Thank you one and all...... I am now relaxing with a wee bit of Johnny Walker Black on the rocks....... tasty it is......... I did go get a twelve pack of long neck PBR's today for the guys at the shop.....and the gal had to come help me find it.......seriously there were all these Millennial Beers like Fat Tire and Evil Twin and Brad's favorite Surly Furious....... what the hell has happened to beer in the last 30 years? I was lucky I could find some tall necks.........the gal said she even has old guys come in and order up some Hamm's or Schlitz......I'm like that's odd?

aye laddies the beer times are a changing........ I'm going to stick with old school as long as I can....... just saying.......

See, that's what I'm saying. Let it sleep in the den.
I know there are lots of people that cage their dogs. We just prefer free range pets.
