42 years ago, I become a father for the first time....yes, my baby girl is no longer a baby.
Beautiful morning in SW Kansas. Seasonably cool, but headed toward to the low 90s again today. I have some things to cut on the CNC today, so will head out to start that pretty soon. Other than that, not a lot planned. Church council meeting this evening. Have a great day, buys...... |

IT'S ANOTHER TOP-DOWN DAY IN THE NATIONS, 89 THE PREDICTED HIGH.
GOT THE WEST HALF OF THE OBSTACLE COURSE CUT YESTERDAY, THEN SHOT SKEET BADLY. I COULD BARELY HIT THE GROUND, SHOT GREAT GAPING HOLES IN THE SKY WHILE THE CLAYS FLEW ON WITHOUT A CARE :-0 GOT OVER TO TAHLEQUAH FOR A HAIRCUT THIS MORNING, I COULD RE-MOW THE EAST HALF TODAY, WHICH HAS ALREADY GROWN UP AGAIN. OR THEN ON SECOND THOUGHT--- TEE, DON'T FEEL BAD, MY GIRLS ARE 50 AND 34. SEEMS IMPOSSIBLE. #1 GRANDSON IS COOKING UP SOME KIND OF BIG MOTHERS DAY TO-DO. I THINK DEALING WITH GRANDDAUGHTER-IN-LAW-TO-BE'S FAMILY HAS MADE HIM APPRECIATE HIS OWN :-) |

wow....I feel better now that my #1 daughter is only 30.......
 hot here today got more pivots running......they are rain replacers farmers are glad they have them..... truth is they can make more money on dry land crops when it rains because they do not have the irrigation expense.....but when it does not rain and they get the big bushels on their irrigated acres they are doing their happy dance. still waiting on my brake parts...........  Got some new handmade Tecova ostrich dress boots though...... very very nice! Only took 2 days to get those in......... time to hit the big chair....... |
