Good Morning CGs!

Not sure if I mentioned it but I pulled the starter out of the Corvette the other day. Dropped it off at the rebuilder and I was able to pick it up yesterday afternoon. I got lucky, the guy I found does amazing and meticulous work. I think the starter is better than it was when new. Cost me $125 and well worth it. Hopefully this is the end of my starting troubles. Everything else is new/replaced/eliminated/ adjusted, etc. The only other thing is the cables and those *should* be good.

Stopped on the snappy truck and had a couple of screwdriver shafts replaced and picked up my new box emblem that's been on backorder for two months. Just a blackout logo, but little things make me happy.

That's about it for me.

Hope everyone has a great day!

That's a very clean tool box, Matt. I was sitting down when Sue came charging in the front door under a full head of steam. She wanted a weed wacker. The best one, a Stihl, needed to be restrung. The Toro didn't want to start. She was upset that the tool wasn't ready at her immediate beck and call. Hell, I hadn't even had my second cup of coffee yet. The other day, at the end of a long day, I was working on the yard when one side of the spool ran out of line. I never string it at the end of the day but wait till the start of my next weed wacking session. Anyway she stormed out saying she couldn't wait. She has too many things to do. Well, I'm showered now, the fish and pigs are fed, the recycling is out, the few dishes that needed washed are washed, the weed machine is strung and I'm on my way over to do something. Lord only knows whatever I had planned is of little concern to you know who. I WAS going to work inside the office shed doing some painting. She never finishes one job but seems to work on many at the same time. She's working on the irrigation system now. Just not my style. Never has been. I'm more task oriented. That being said .... let me see WTF is in store for me today. I'll let y'all know later just what that is.

Happy, happy, joy, joy ........

Howdy - busy as hell again, but at least I'm working from home, so there will be no walk-up interruptions.

Have a good day, all!

NOT MUCH DOUBT OF THAT, SHE AND I HAVE BEEN ESPECIALLY SIMPATICO SINCE SHE WAS A BABY.

I HAD THE 'VETTE DISTRIBUTION ALL WORKED OUT. HARVEY THE '87
WAS TO GO TO #2 SIL, THE ONLY REAL CAR GUY IN THE FAMILY, BECAUSE HE WOULD APPRECIATE IT. THE BUMBLEBEE, '96, WAS FOR #1 GS, THE MECHANICAL ENGINEER. MAYBE HE COULD KEEP IT RUNNING RIGHT; THERE WAS ALWAYS SOMETHING WRONG. THE TOMATO, '95, WAS FOR #2 GD BECAUSE SHE ASKED FOR IT :-)

NOW #2 SIL & BABY DAUGHTER ARE TALKING ABOUT MOVING TO ALASKA AND THE BUMBLEBEE IS SORTED OUT AND PETTY MUCH TROUBLE FREE. I MAY HAVE TO RECOMPUTE.

Was up at 3 am helping my bride get her stuff in the Tahoe as she and the daughters are leaving for 10 days in London and Paris..... been planning this for awhile and so its just me and the dogs......batching..... what will I eat? What will I drink? Maybe I will eat all the food she fixed for me and is in the fridge...... but I have to pace myself..... don't worry Im sure I will be ok....

Letty..... you upshift so you bring the lever up....... you downshift so you kick the lever down....... they had to make it simple if you have ever seen some of the HD riders out there...... er...... wait I used to ride HD's.....

Tommy...... I recommend some big chair time in the cool of the AC watching Bosch on Amazon...... with something tall and cold to drink...... work is so overrated........

Morning guys...slept in again this morning. Not much on the agenda for today. Just treading water until we head home Sunday.

I’m with Marcus, I like the chrome, Matt. And work is overrated, take some time Tommy. Gris, you’ve got quite a delema there. Hopefully you won’t (or DW) have to worry about that for a long time. Marcus, how will you survive?

Not bad temperature wise this morning, but I’m sure the stupidity is up there making feel hotter than it really is. Going to reach low 90s this afternoon.

Have a great day guys....

I've heard Paris, TX and London, KY are beautiful this time of year...

Wheels will stay, but I like the blackout look on the box.

quiet day at the office here today until owner comes in mad at my installer . supposedly he's rented a shop in the next town and planning to leave and not told anyone. Now we're all up in the air. Dude wanted a $25, 000 a year raise. Hell, who don't???
Marcus - on the shifting - his bike is neutral is well just there, then you push down for first, then for 2,3,4 you have to pull up. it confuses me. I don't understand why they can't all be down. or up. he explained it like the shifter in a car where center is neutral . yes, but I can SEE that shifter and know where it's at. the foot I have to guess at

OMG, LETTY YOU REMIND ME OF TEACHING #1 DAUGHTER TO DRIVE IN A VOLKSWAGEN "THING". SHE KEPT LOOKING DOWN FOR THE CLUTCH WHEN SHE'D SHIFT. TRIED TO TELL HER IT WOULD ALWAYS BE IN THE SAME PLACE EVERY TIME. NEARLY TOOK OUT A COUPLE OF MAIL BOXES THAT WAY. EXCITING TIMES :-)

...@TEE the BEE...we are still talking about shifting here right...????

...well tonight I will have the meatloaf and squash....with the wild rice......

The for the weekend there is the steaks to cook and the salads.... then we will start in on a huge lasagna with the French bread and robust red wine......as the week wears on there is the big pan of enchiladas with refries....... I eat pretty good when mama leaves me home alone..... And I do have some whiky to ease the pain of separation if it gets unbearable.......
