I remember as a kid how the older folks, especially the men, thought we were spoiled, that we didn't know what it was to work hard, and didn't know what being tough was. Now as an older man I look at the kids and think they are spoiled, don't know what it is to work hard, and don't know what being tough is. Both generations I believe are right.

"I'M JUST SO PROUD TO BE HERE."
IT'S SUNNY, CALM, AND MILD IN THE NATIONS. HAD A BRIEF THUNDER SHOWER LAST EVENING, WOKE ME FROM MY PRE-BEDTIME NAP, JUST ENOUGH RAIN TO MAKE A MESS.

BUSY DAY IN STORE, FLEA MARKET, BREAKFAST AT THE WHEELHOUSE, FT GIBSON CAR SHOW TO CHECK OUT.

I'M A BIT CONCERNED ABOUT DW'S NEW CAR. ALL THOSE "SAFETY" FEATURES SEEM LIKELY TO DISTRACT THE DRIVER AND TAKE THEIR ATTENTION OFF THE ROAD. SHE'S ALREADY TALKING ABOUT UNEXPLAINED BEEPS, BUZZES, AND BELLS. MAYBE I CAN TURN SOME OF THAT CRAP OFF.

According to ancient Hawaiian tradition, the quickest way to APPEASE PELE and have the volcanic fires stop is to make a human sacrifice into her fires, and according to tradition, that needs to be a celebrated leader who was born in Hawaii.
Obama quickly announced he was actually born in Kenya, and has the Birth Certificate to prove it.

Greetings! Nice to sleep in - it is always good to do something you excel at. Dreary-looking day out there, spitting some rain every now and then.

Hope the girls have a great trip, Marcus!

Have a good day, all!

Morning guys.... slept in a bit here the. Came down where they put “ Spaceballs” the movie on. It’s mid 80s out there right now, headed to mid 90s. Dance recital tonight, church in the morning, then we’ll head for home. I’m ready.

I believe you are right, Tommy. Each generation has to learn hard work. Glad they made it there Marcus. Hopefully they won’t spend all your money.

Sleep? What's this sleep thing you speak of?
Flooring people here today to discuss some repairs as a result of the termite discovery recently in the hallway. 2 months later. The pest control people I think are trying to duck out of this. I do not want all the flooring redone., Too much headache. I also do not want just a couple of boards patched, either. A proper repair, I'm all for. Problem we're having is finding matching wood.
Had tons of plans this weekend and I"m already two days behind. I have bushes to trim, weeds to kill and pull, plants to water, four wheeler parts to paint, groceries to shop for and need too fit de-cluttering the spare bedroom in there somewhere. Have had all the family albums in the hope chest drug out and the bed and lounger in there piled up with yard sale merchandise that needs a new home.
Have a good Saturday

SAW TWIN FAWNS CAVORTING IN THE WEST YARD, DID NOT SEE THE DAM BUT IT MUST BE THE BROWN DOE THAT'S HANGING AROUND THE PLACE.

THE BROWN DOE'S SURVIVAL IS IN JEOPARDY; SHE ATE ALL DW'S FLOWERS ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE HOUSE.
HER MAJESTY WAS NOT AMUSED :-0
