Woke by a three dog alarm at 06:45. A Yorkie in my face, a Dachshund mix draped across my mid section barking and the Rottie mix pawing at my back with a stuffed animal in her mouth. How could I get mad at these guy. They just want me to get up and out of bed. Or is it that there can be no treats if daddy is sleeping ......Going to cut some grass at the nursery. Once a week this time of year. And if I'm lucky enough to avoid the rain I can paint a little on the office exterior. Sue heads to mom's tonight so I'll be batching it this weekend. That just means she'll call at various points throughout the time she's gone.

DID YOU SEE THE VIDEO OF THE DOGS OPENING THE DOOR TO THE BABY'S ROOM, WAKING HER UP, GETTING HER OUT OF BED AND INTO THE KITCHEN SO SHE WOULD GIVE THEM TREATS?
YA KNOW, BASICALLY, DOGS ARE US :-)

ANOTHER STICKY MORNING IN THE NATIONS, MAY RAIN THIS AFTERNOON SAY THE WEATHER BOFFINS. GOT THE EASY PART OF THE HARD HALF OF THE OBSTACLE COURSE CUT LAST NIGHT AFTER SUNDOWN. I'LL HAVE TO DO THE HARD PART THIS EVENING IF THE RAIN DOESN'T SAVE ME.

So we are a week away from heading to Oregon to pick up the Fiddysix Cheby Baeuville wagon. I have some spare parts packed like a fuel pump and parts for the Petronix ignition system if they choose to take a hike on us....... we have a spare tire in the car..... and a jack and tire iron...... I will get some cheap tools out in Oregon to throw in......... I am not anticipating any trouble but it is a 62 year old car although one that has been completely gone through.

It has new Vintage AC and power steering and power disc brakes..... it has a nice big new Aluminum Radiator... and a R7004 tranny. Its a rebuilt 283 out of a 67 pickup with 7000 miles on the clock...... all bearings have been redone as had the rear end been rebuilt. 3:36 gears..... all new modern wiring......

what could go wrong?

All it has to do is go about 2000 miles to get home with a few side journeys......... I even have a canvas water bag to put on the front.... and a See the USA in your Chevrolet license plate.......

More on this epic adventure later........ have a profound day Guru's.....

Howdy! Nice day out there today, perfect for chores. Well, it would be perfect for a lot of more enjoyable activities, but I'll have to settle for the chores.

Sounds like a great adventure, Marcus - looking forward to seeing the new buggy!

Have a good day, Gurus!

Hot here again today and although it wasn't in the forecast and nasty storm just blew through . Upon looking outside, however there's no sign of it having been here.
Busy day at the office, usually my day off but I've been put up to gathering inventory of what was taken by the outsted employee and getting together customer contacts and what not so things can be tied up. He's about to get his lawyer involved and/or police, etc. Crap I do not want in the middle of this.

Evening guys.....You bet Marcus, send them my way I’ll get them posted.

We are at the lake (Milford Lake near Junction City). The family has four cabins rented and several grands have camping spots. Some fished today and we went down to the swimming area to cool off. Temps haven’t been horrible, but humidity has been high. This afternoon, a storm moved through (missing us) but dropping the humidity to reasonable numbers. This evening is nearly perfect.
