Today is this and that day. throw stuff out, put stuff away and as I come across something (small) I've been neglecting I'm doing it today. Trying to organize everything a little bit. To organize everything would take me a week . lol

I got the mowing done yesterday and got some mosquito bites even though I was wearing a long sleeve shirt....hate that....... I suppose I could go out and clean the shop........ I need motivation...... ok I will pay myself a hundred dollars to clean the shop......... geez just a hundred? I don't think so.....

I'm having a big slab of apple pie for breakfast...... my gma used to have fruit pie's on the table for the ranch hands in the morning....with lots of meat and eggs and hot black coffee....... hard work branding and such....took lots of calories........

Well I think my morning nap is coming up........more later from the Good Life State.......

Howdy! I have mowing on my to-do list, but at the moment I can't get the garage door open - the spring broke last night. A guy is on his way out here to fix it shortly. It's always something.

Have a good day, all!

Good Afternoon CGs!

Nice day here. I'm in charge of the rugrats while the wife is earning more to add to the pile of gold in the corner.

Speaking of earning, finally sold the big yellow toolbox today. It was my bottom line price but I certainly didn't get hurt in the deal. I basically doubled my money overall including keeping quite a few tools for myself. Happy to have my garage space back. But I'm ready for round two if I find the right box.

Marcus, how about some pictures of that 56 you're going to get? Sounds like a great toy to have.

Hope everyone has a great day!

One job I won't do myself. Winding that spring scares me a bit. I have a buddy with a garage door company and when mine broke he came out and changed both springs for around $120. Well worth it.

hey guys....was up pretty ear;y, got packed up, said goodbye to all then hit the road.

Instead of heading straight home, we were within 50 miles of where my grandparents had a farm and my mom grew up and where both my parents are buried. So we decided to drive down and check out the cemetery. Things there are aging well and they keep the grass mowed reasonably well, considering it is, more or less, out in the middle of nowhere. We headed home from there on country highways taking our time and things we hadn't been by in years.

Anyway, we are home now, the truck is unloaded, the lawn mowed and bags unpacked.

Those springs aren't too bad to replace and wind, if you have the right tools. I've done lots of them.

Tomorrow I'm having the head unit in the Corvette swapped out. When I traded the pickup the dealer wanted the OEM radio, so I sent them the OEM and they sent me the Pioneer head and all the related wiring things. It's a better unit than the Jensen head I have in the Corvette now....so it's a no-brainer for me to have it swapped.
