Seems like a day doesn't go by that I don't end up lifting something heavy. I do it because if I don't I won't get done what must be done. ....... Except on a cruise. Then the only heavy lifting I do is the suitcase onto the luggage mat to unpack and then again when I take it down after packing for disembarkation.

Like using ride sharing such as Uber and Lyft, I see the need for a new personal service. Handy-human and Lift. You look on your phone screen and see who nearby is available to do your bidding. You tap the app and someone comes by to lift and move what you wanted moved or change light bulbs, clean gutters or fix your leaky faucet. You post your need and an army of waiting participants fill the void. Not the same as calling an electrician, plumber or painter though they may be ready, willing and able. The main problem I have is later lifting my wallet out of my pocket to pay them. That would cut into my poker/slot play money. Well, the idea sounded good .........

THE HUMMING BIRD MIGRATION IS UNDERWAY. THE MALES ARE GONE, HAVEN'T SEEN ONE FOR SEVERAL DAYS AND THE FEMALES ARE BUZZING AROUND THE FEEDERS LIKE FLIES AROUND A DEAD FISH, FATTENING UP FOR THE TRIP SOUTH.

SO MANY PEOPLE PUT OUT FEEDERS, MAKES ME WONDER IF HUMMING BIRDS WILL BECOME AS DEPENDENT ON PEOPLE AS PURPLE MARTINS HAVE.

BOW SEASON OPENS THE FIRST, HOPE OUR DOMESTIC DEER ARE WATCHING THEIR CALENDAR---

Morning guys....slept in again, I guess I got used to it. Cloudy and cool this morning, but supposed to warm up into the mid 70s. We'll see.

As soon as I got home (actually before) I started getting calls. Once I unloaded the car and put stuff away I had a guy come to get some cabinets I built before I left and another guy who had a computer issue or two that couldn't wait...he actually called me Thursday while I was on the golf course, but was over pretty quick once I was home and ready.

Today, i will build some cabinet drawers and doors, so it's back to the grind for me. Got to get to it.

Good morning, all.

A beautiful early fall day in the Philadelphia—clear, 65 degrees, leaves hinting at change.

Swapping the 1985's wheels and tires this morning and hoping to get to some other errands this afternoon.

Howdy! I slept in, and before I had 2 sips of coffee, got sucked into a work conference call. Not exactly what I had planned. Meanwhile, I think the Vette will go into hibernation tomorrow.

There are apps for that, Tommy - Thumbtack is one ;)

Have a good day, all!

Tires—I'm thinking I have lot as I look at the back wall of my detached garage. Here's the list, in size order:

five 255/50R16 BFGoodrich g-Force Sport COMP-2 (summer tires, including one reserve, for the 1985 Corvette for driving)

four 255/50R16 Goodyear HP Ultra (all-season tires for the 1985 Corvette for NCRS judging)

two 245/45R17 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ ZP (all-season run-flat front tires for the 2003 Corvette)

two 245/40R18 Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position (all-season run-flat front tires for the 2012 Corvette)

two 245/40R18 Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-2 EMT (summer run-flat front tires for the 2012 Corvette)

two 275/40R18 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ ZP (all-season run-flat rear tires for the 2003 Corvette)

two 245/45R19 Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D XL (winter tires for the 2017 Impala—two others did not survive last winter)

four 245/45R19 Goodyear Eagle RS-A2 (all-season tires for the 2017 Impala)

two 285/35R19 Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position (all-season run-flat rear tires for the 2012 Corvette)

two 285/35R19 Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-2 EMT (summer run-flat rear tires for the 2012 Corvette)

Hmmm …

Sounds like you could open a tire shop, John.

Not putting 007 away yet...still planning on driving it up to Nebraska to see Marcus in a week.
