Good Morning CGs!

It was quite chilly yesterday but should be a little bit warmer today.

Yesterday morning we took the kids to the pumpkin patch. We stayed there for a few hours and the kids had a good time. After that we ran some errands and got some lunch. Not a bad day overall.

Landscapers finally showed up to do some work in our yard. Of course the wife is already complaining about the work. I don't get it. She doesn't like the level of the sod that they laid. I don't know what to tell her. It will settle a little bit. I told her I could pull it all back relevel it and relay the sod but then she yelled at me for even suggesting that. I can't really win.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Went to a wedding last night for a young man (30) I've known all his life. His dad and I go back before that. His father is one of the people you can count on one hand that are lifelong friends. More like a brother. We had a great time. I even danced a little. Sue came walking over with a young lady and introduced her to me. I should thank her for that. This woman was "mucho caliente", wearing a red dress and had all the right parts in all the right places. That's one of the bonuses for old dudes going to weddings. Get a peek at what's on the current market. ;) The salad was outstanding, Had fresh raspberries strewn about. The meal main course was OK. I had steak and Sue had chicken. We always do that so we can share. Later I watched everybody dance but my eyes kept getting lured in by one that was wearing a red dress.

Good Morning.... cold wet dreary....and that's just the mood of the State right now....corn prices down..weather is bad.....and on top of that we have a terrible football team.....maybe one of the worst all time..... oh Lordy say it ain't so..... 8 straight losses now if you go back to last year.....

So I'm doing what a lot of other folks are doing....I'm turning my attention to the Huskers Girls Volleyball team which at this point are defending National Champs and are undefeated this season so far......I watched them dismantle Illinois yesterday who was also undefeated, in straight sets...... warms the heart it does.... football is so overrated.....

I'm hunkered down in the big chair hoping the Chefs are playing today.... I have provisions so am good to go..... have a warm safe day Guru's....

Hidey-ho! The battery in my truck crapped out - the truck sits a lot now that I'm telecommuting. But the battery is 4 years old and has exhibited this behavior before, so it is time. There is likely some parasitic loss, maybe from the remote start gizmo. Meanwhile, I charged it up, and ordered a battery memory saver cable so I can keep the radio settings, etc. when I swap in the new one. It's always something.

Have a good day, all!

Hey guys...slept in again, not as long as some, trying to get back to a "normal" routine. Went out to the shop to do some wobike riderk on the cabinets. And Rosie wanted to go to the 'city' for a few things, so we ran over there and got back just in time for a church meeting we signed up to go to. That lasted until almost 5:30....3 and a 1/2 hours.

Then went for a bike ride....that just about kicked my butt. The cold north wind and it seemed like I was riding against it in all directions. Hope I'm not coming down with something.
