Greetings! Another gloomy-looking day out there. Yesterday the sun made an appearance for about 30 seconds. Got a lot done yesterday, though - all the patio stuff is put away or covered up. Now I need to knuckle down and get some vehicle maintenance chores off my list. I am sure that will make my knuckles sore.

Enjoy your day, Gurus!

Morning guys....it is raining here as well, and cool, 47 now, and that is just about it for the day. I can confirm.....our plastic cars do NOT melt when they get rained on....... it has been raining off and on since we left yesterday.

Three Dog Night was really good. Missing two of the originals, Chuck Negron and Cory Wells, but they had 1 replacement singer, who was about the same age range, so it wasn’t too hard to believe. The drummer and keyboard guys were obviously not original members....way too young. Their voices were still really good and also the harmonies. The show was about an hour and a half.

Today, we are spending time with FIL and local family. Tomorrow morning I’ll head north to Marcus’ place for a few days. A meeting of Corvette guys...mostly from another forum, that I met last year in South Dakota.

Have a great day guys. I may check back in later.....or tomorrow.

Cold wet and rainy today......and staying that way in the foreseeable future....had a nice day yesterday so got all the mowing done and other outside projects..... hopefully that will be the last mow......but maybe one more.....

Have a nice day at your domiciles Guru's......

Good Morning CGs!

Cold and dreary here. Rained all morning. Hopefully it clears up a bit.

I cleaned up the house this morning and have some food prepped in the kitchen. Having a family dinner for Jacob's birthday. Spiral ham, two slabs of ribs, potatoes, cole slaw, German potato salad, regular salad, etc. Nothing beats a home cooked meal.

TB, sounds like they need to rename the tour to One Dog Night.

Hope everyone has a great day!

I'll bet that was a good show, Tom - they were a staple of the soundtrack of our youth, good stuff.

Changed oil on both the truck and my wife's RDX, and tidied up the engine compartments. I still have to throw some rear shocks on the RDX, that'll wait for another day. And I need to buff out the truck and wax it.

WELL, I WAS TAKEN WITH THE DOG. SHE'S A BLUETIC, AND IF NOT FULL BLOOD THEN DAMN CLOSE TO IT. BEAUTIFUL VOICE, FRIENDLY, SEEMS WELL SOCIALIZED. I'LL GIVE IT A COUPLE OF DAYS AND IF SHE'S STILL UNCLAIMED I'LL BRING HER HOME. MASSIVE RETALIATION FOR THE NEIGHBOR'S YAPPY DOGS, COON HOUND MUSIC :-)

MARCUS, IT LOOKS LIKE I'M GOING TO HAVE TO MOW AGAIN ALSO. I DETEST MOWING IN OCTOBER. IT'S A SUBVERSIVE PLOT, PROBABLY RUSSIAN, OR MAYBE CHINESE---
