Good Morning CGs!

This weather change has been unwelcome. I walked the dog tonight and it was about 40*. Not ready for that.

Mike, sorry to hear about the job. Hope everything goes well for the wife.

TB, sounds like you're having a nice trip.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Hidey-ho! Since it is currently 31, 40 does not sound bad. There are rumors of an appearance by the sun today, we shall see. I hope it dries out today, since I have a huge mess of leaves to clean up. And there will be plenty more to take their place.

Have a good day, all!

I get to start again when I return. Next cruise is Dec 8th.

Of course departure seems to always have one issue or another. This time it's Mimi (the Yorkie) has a case of the $#!+$

Well we had one day of sunshine and now back in the soup.....rain all weekend sounds like.....wow..... this is one of the years they will be able to measure on the growth rings on the trees when they cut them down a hundred years from now.....

Party is over but my new found polishing skills that was demonstrated to me using Adams products will be put in play on the Fiddysix as I'm stuck inside anyway...... I'm pretty much sold on the Adams lineup now......and my friend who was here from Detroit is a pro polisher and he is also Polish....so that makes him a Pro Polish Polisher.......say that 3 times real fast.....if posting pics wasn't such a bitch on here I would put up some pics......

more from cornland later.......have a nice day!

Bon voyage, Tommy!

What Adams products are you using, Marcus? I've been working on buffing out my truck and waxing it - poor thing sat outside all summer.

Well they took the buffing compounds with them saying that I would not have to do that again for a long time.....Teeb would know what they are....

What they left for me to use was.....

1. The Adams Clay Mitt which is mitt that takes the place of using a bar of clay to get rid of all the rough impurities on the surface of the paint. They used Adams Detail spray as lubricant with the Clay Mitt. Works great and all you do it rinse out the Mitt after use.

2. Then they used the Adams Paint Sealant applied with a foam applicator .....

3. Then they applied another coat of Detail Spray after the Paint Sealant has been removed.

4. Then if you want a real dazzler of a shine you spray on Brilliant Glaze and remove that with these big fluffy detail towels....from Adams also....they are so nice your wife will want to take them in and monogram them with the family crest for the guest bathroom.....

I guess the Brilliant Glaze will only last a few days if subjected to weather....but the Detail Spray will last a long time.

Hopefully Tee Bee can let you know what the buffing compounds used were....he is also an Adams guy....hope that helps....

Brad, we used a random orbit polisher (I have a Torq) the first step was orange "correcting polish" with an orange pad. Then we used the white "final polish" with a white pad. After that, then we used the "paint sealant" applied by hand with the foam applicator.
