CLOUDY AND NOT SO COLD THIS MORNING, A THOROUGHLY CRAPPY WEEKEND PREDICTED. SLEET, SNOW, FREEZING RAIN, I CAN HARDLY WAIT. WHAT I REALLY DREAD IS ICE, LIFE BECOMES VERY INCONVENIENT WITHOUT ELECTRICITY.

Cool clear and crisp start to the morning. Floridians know cold when they put a jacket on while still wearing shorts. Being a former northerner I wear jeans, a t-shirt and a flannel shirt that I can take off later. High in the 70's today. ..... Nice ......

Greetings! it will be a balmy 17 here today - ick. They keep saying it is going to warm up here in the next few days, probably to keep us from revolting.

Sun is out here but its fake sun....no warmth coming from it...... I miss driving my cars......a lot of things I do and enjoy have to have warm weather to do it in........ oh well maybe global warming will change all that and ban winter....

Going out to get the tree on Saturday...... there goes a 100 bucks..... geez....bah humbug......

hey guys...wasn't the best nights sleep I ever had, but I made it through. Up about 5 times due to being uncomfortable. I have a little less pain today, but still swelled up, which makes movements a bit slow. We are going to drive up to Goodland to watch the boys basketball game today. It's a two hour drive up there and the game is at 3pm, so we need to leave in a little while.

It's cold and windy, 28 now with wind chills in the 8 - 12 range. We'll take some heavy coats with us. All the moisture is supposed to go North and South of us....that doesn't hurt my feelings this time. #2 and her S/O are headed to Dallas for the football game this weekend. Because of the weather, they are leaving tomorrow, so we'll watch the boys.

Well, I stopped at the carpentry house and advised on a stair handrail and got to see GS #1 for a bit too. We are back, could have hung around to watch the girls play, but there was a another game between and the bleachers weren't too comfortable either.
