Lots to do with little time since I've been dragging a bit. Of course something major decides to pop up two days before we go. A circuit breaker to the pump and irrigation system here at the house keeps tripping. That means no water to the home nursery and fish pond. Not good. Electrician is coming over later today but my confidence for a fix today is low. I have an emergency back up plan in place for sonny-boy. Hand water the nursery and pond. Just have to see what will be. Of course Sue needs me at the nursery for an hour or two this morning further fu~messing up my Vulcan plans for the day. Never ends ....... Not that I expect anything different. A man can dream, can't he?

ANOTHER GRAY DAY IN THE NATIONS, THE CHEROKEES ARE GETTING DEPRESSED.
SAD

HAD A PHONE CALL YESTERDAY FROM MY COUSIN IN FL WITH BRAIN CANCER. HE SOUNDED REALLY BAD, DON'T THINK HE CAN LAST MUCH LONGER.

THE FRENCH ARE REVOLTING. AND THEY'RE ALSO FED UP WITH THEIR PERMANENT POLITICAL CLASS. AND I AM FED UP WITH OUR PPC'S ENDLESS ANTI-TRUMP DRUMBEAT.
IT'S THE BEST OF POSSIBLE WORLDS, RIGHT?

Good morning, all!

Cold, but not annoyingly so, this morning. The sun is out, so I'd say it's a pretty December day in Philadelphia.

When I was in the Navy (now thirty years ago) the spectre of Pearl Harbor was still a strong one—"never again" was a frequent phrase. I wonder how much of that carries to this day. The USS Arizona Memorial is a sobering place.

WELL, THE WEATHER WIZARDS HAVE MODERATED THEIR FORECAST TO LESS ALARMING PERIMETERS. ESTA BUENO.

PEARL HARBOR WAS A CLASSIC SURPRISE ATTACK, CONCEIVED AND PLANNED BY A MAN WHO KNEW IT WOULD RESULT IN HIS COUNTRY'S DEFEAT.

IT'S HARD AT THIS LATE DATE TO UNDERSTAND HOW WE WERE CAUGHT SO FLATFOOTED. BUT FATE IS INEXORABLE, OUR ANCESTORS USED TO SAY---

Morning guys...We slept in this morning. After that I headed over to a little ole lady's house to work on her computer. An hour and a half later I have her computers going...actually the modem and router were the problem. Then headed over to do another computer call and got sidetracked to something else.

My discomfort is easing hourly. Still not 100%, but making great headway. Still have some swelling in the 'lower' hernia area......no cute comments please.

Good Evening CGs!

So do you say happy Pearl Harbor Day? Realistically, it's a somber event. I don't think you would want to preface the title of the day with a "happy."

It is cold here as well about 20 degrees right now. Is it summer yet?

Gris, sorry to hear about your cousin.

TB, hope recovery is going well.

Whatta day! Made it through and did hardly anything I had planned. Heading out early in the A.M.. Bags are packed and I'm ready to go. Don't let the door hit me on the way out. Adios. See ya in a week or so.

Howdy! I got busy right away this morning, and stayed that way all day, down to a conference call right at the end. Then a little jaunt to run some errands, and it is finally time to relax.

Pearl Harbor is a sobering place, indeed - I'm grateful to have gotten the chance to see it.

Sorry to hear about your cousin, GRIS.

Glad you are continuing to improve, Tom.

Bon voyage, Tommy!

Enjoy what little is left of your day, Gurus!
