THE CHEROKEES ARE DISMANTLING CHRISTMAS. DARLING WIFE IS OFF TO DALLAS TO VISIT HER SISTERS LEAVING ME UNSUPERVISED. I COULD HAVE A BIG PRE-NEW YEARS EVE PARTY, STAY UP TILL TEN OR ELEVEN O'CLOCK :-)

GOT A SET OF SEAT COVERS FOR HARVEY THE '87 FOR CHRISTMAS, HAVE TO GET THEM PUT ON. THAT MEANS ANOTHER SESSION WITH SALVATORE. I'M DEAF, HIS ENGLISH IS POOR AND HE HAS A SPEECH IMPEDIMENT. THIS WILL NOT BE PRETTY.

LOOKS LIKE THE VB, SHE OF THE EAGLE EYE, STRUCK GOLD WITH THAT DRESSER. 40'S 50'S FURNITURE WAS BETTER BUILT BY ORDERS OF MAGNITUDE THAN LATER STUFF.

As some parents have told their kids; "I brought you into this world. I can damn sure take you out." Yup. It's Florida again.

Oh, holey night .........

Howdy! Look like I have a few inches of wet, sloppy snow to get rid of this morning. I wonder how long it would take me to clear the driveway with my heat gun....

Daaanngggg - From what little information is given - seems like the son was punching on him a few years ago. Father shot in self defense then. Perhaps this was the case this time and those details are lacking. If I was 82 and a 50 year old was yelling in my face I'd probably shoot too just out of fear. Horrible either way

Raining and dreary all day here, 100% chance of rain. Good day to sleep in. Given the way my drive to work went and the low IQ crowd on the road this morning it would've been best.
Got the dresser cleaned up, in it's spot and drawers put in last night so one less thing I need to worry about tonight. I'm quite happy with it - all 84 inches of it.

I just read that story on another site which had a comment section at the bottom. I found this one:

Geez.....can't we all just get along........ I think if they had some cool cars nothing bad would have happened.....you know......Dad help me restore this 72 Corvette and we can take it to shows together...... yeah son that will be a lot of fun......... see problem fixed....... cool cars can fix anything.

Pure ice here today.....rained all day yesterday and most the night then it got real cold....... have to be carefull.......maybe a small jet engine would work on that snow Brad...... just thinking out loud.....

Sometimes the Holidays bring out the 'best' in people.....

Hey guys...snowing and blowing here. Lost power in the middle of the night a couple different times. As of now, I think the snow is over, but it is blowing around pretty good yet. It's a wet, heavy snow. Highways in and out of town are all closed, so county offices are closed. Rosie and #2, neither one, had to go in today. Rosie has been out four times to shovel the drive and sidewalks. Me, I'm staying inside where it's warm and dry.

I think I see a nap in my future......

TEE, I SAW WHERE SNOW HAD SHUT DOWN PART OF THE PANHANDLE AND WONDERED IF IT GOT YOU TOO.

THERE'S ONLY TWO THINGS WRONG WITH SNOW: IT'S COLD AND IT'S WET :-(

Yea, it hit us pretty hard, but it was a fast moving storm. Snow is over but the wind continues. The snow is so wet, now that it is on the ground, it's not moving too much.

Rosie and I went out to finish up the rental.....done. Now to complete the invoice and get paid.

WIND HAS BEEN BLOWING ALL DAY HERE TOO. IT'S BEEN A BIPOLAR DAY, DEPRESSING CLOUDS FOR THE MOST PART WITH OCCASIONAL MANIC EPISODES OF SUNSHINE.

DARLING WIFE CALLED TO SAY SHE GOT TO DALLAS. THE BAND AND CHORUS GIRLS SHOULD BE HERE ANY TIME NOW---

I'm thinking you may be prone to some exaggeration about the chorus gals........ but who am I to say......

Weather is Chit here also..... lots of ice due to the 1 to 2" of rain we got yesterday.....now trying to snow. Have a pot of Ham and beans simmering and just threw another log on the fire. As long as the WiFi holds out we are good to go.....
