Where is Matt? He did NOT request a leave of absence hence AWOL. Disciplinary action to follow.

Winter weather is running slightly above our cooler norms. 81* high with nighttime lows in the low to mid 70's. 90% humidity makes it feel more like 90*. This is unacceptable and I plan to log a complaint with the National Weather Service.

I have put away most of the Christmas flair except for a few small stray items that I'll collect and dispatch to the appropriate storage area. Normal (for here) activities to resume. As I gaze out the window and glance about the house I find many tasks that beckon my attention. Alas, I will choose but a few and proceed.

CLEAR AND COLD IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING. NOTHING FIRM ON THE AGENDA, I'LL CALL MY GUNSHOW BUDDY AND IF HE'S OVER HIS URI MAKE THE LONG DELAYED TULSA RUN.

#1 DAUGHTER CAME OVER AND GAVE SWEETHEART HER FIRST HEART WORM SHOT. IT MADE HER FEEL BAD. NOW SHE'S BACK ON THE P-PILLS FOR THREE WEEKS AND GETS TWO MORE SHOTS AFTER THAT. GOOD THING I GET A DADDY DISCOUNT.

Good morning, all.

Cool and sunny in the Philadelphia area.

This afternoon is our family's Christmas gift distribution—we're bring snotty champagne as our contribution, along with a few gifts, and many copies of the eighties CD I do every December.

Otherwise, mostly errands and bad football.

Morning guys.....slept in again. Surprisingly so did all the kids. Much more activity around the house with 7 extras here.

Pretty chilly here this morning...low of 5, wind chills in the -5 to -12. Not a day to be outside. The sun is shining though, making it a bit deceiving.

Kids are playing games so it is pretty quiet around here. The only thing on my agenda for today is church.

I hope all of you have a great 29th of December.

Greetings! We got my son a remote car starter for Christmas, so we're going to get that installed today. Since the high on Tuesday will be "near 5", I'm sure he will like that. Not sure what else is on the agenda, but I imagine I'll be informed of that later.

Have a good day, all!

Got back from the Christmas gifting, leaving my nephew happily playing with his Legos. The most interesting gift I received was this book:

https://www.amazon.com/Langdon-Clay-Ca ... k-1974-1976/dp/3958291716

—it's about 115 photos of photos of cars, almost all from the side, almost all taken in New York City, and all of them taken between 1974 and 1976. I've had it on my list for two years, so I was very happy to receive it.
