Back to the two thousand years thing. Seems mankind has done more to fudge up the environment in the last 200 years than it has comparatively over the last 10,000 years.

SEMI-SUNNY AND COOL IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, LOOKS LIKE ANOTHER NICE DAY COMING UP, YESTERDAY WAS JUST GRAND. DARLING WIFE HOME FROM THE WILD WEST, HAD A NICE VISIT WITH BABY DAUGHTER, SIL, & #7 GRANDSON IN OKC ON THE WAY.

INTERESTING REPORT FROM THE FUNERAL:
THE CURRENT FUNERAL FASHION SEEMS TO BE FAMILY AND FRIENDS TELLING AMUSING AND ENDEARING STORIES ABOUT THE DECEASED.
AT THIS FUNERAL THERE WERE NONE.
NO SURPRISE TO ME.

#1 GRANDSON AND WIFE ARE BACK FROM JAPAN AND HAPPY TO BE ONCE AGAIN AMONG THE ROUND-EYES.

KEEP UP THE FIRE, GURUS!

Morning guys...slept in again. Yesterday it didn't quite make it into the 50s like they predicted, only 49, but melting continued. Last night, it stayed above freezing all night, so more of the icy crap has disappeared. Predictions for today is upper 50s.

I have a Knights of Columbus meeting today, so I will miss most of the nice weather....story on my life.

I trust all of you will have a great first Sunday of the year!

Not as nice here today..... was out yesterday in the 56 I installed some front seat extenders so the front bench seat moves back another 4". Worked out great. Much more comfortable for me to drive. Folks must have been real short back in the 50's.

No plan for today yet but I'm sure my activities director has a nice list of things for me to do.......

Always a pleasure Guru's..

Hi gurus, just checking in.
Have a great week this week, dress for the weather and maybe take a walk. Even in the rain, there’s freedom and nature to take in and enjoy.
For those of you in the cold, do it carefully, but let’s experience things.
I did today, and it was very uplifting.

Hey guys, back from the meeting. When we went in the sun was shining, when we came out it was warm (for January), but the sun was gone behind heavy clouds.

Neighbor gave us some fresh caught fish the other day (crappie) and Rosie made that for supper.....really good fish.

Good Evening CGs!

Sorry I've been MIA again working around the house and spending time with the kids.

Got up this morning and got cracking on the room. Saturday I caulked the trim and filled the nail holes. Today I had to paint the trim and get everything moved back in. Turned out great. I'll post some pictures tomorrow. Tonight will be the first night in almost two weeks that we get to sleep in our own bedroom again. It will be a nice change.

Hope everyone had a great day!
