Well, the sun is coming up this morning. It is pretty nippy out there, 8 now. Good thing I have remote start on the pickup. It didn’t fire up quite as quick as it normally does. The ole ‘bird hunter’ isn’t used to sitting out in the cold like it has the past few nights.

We are headed to church here in a few.

Still hard to believe about our friend Brad......illl pray for him and his family today at church.....

CLEAR AND COLD IN THE NATIONS, BUT NOT AS COLD AS ADVERTISED.
THE CHEROKEES REJOICE TO SEE THE SUN AGAIN.

HAD RAIN FRIDAY, THEN A SPRINKLE OF SNOW FRIDAY NIGHT. OUR TRIP TO MARIETTA WAS TIRESOME. TEMP NEVER GOT ABOVE 33 AND, COUNTER INTUITIVELY, THE FURTHER SOUTH WE GOT THE MORE SNOW THERE WAS. BUT THE ROADS WERE DRY AND THE BIG PROBLEM WAS THE WIND. LIGHT WEIGHT, HIGH PROFILE CAR WITH A SHORT WHEELBASE DID NOT MAKE FOR RELAXED DRIVING. THERE'S AN INCH OF ICE IN THE RAIN GAUGE :-)

IT'S HARD TO BELIEVE WE LOST BRAD. I MISS HIM ALREADY.

Morning gang. Clear and cold here in O'Fallon Mo. Temps in the low teens. Woke up with no water this morning. We bought a camco heated water hose which is suppose to be good to -20F. Looks like trip to camping world for a replacement. Glad we bought the warranty. I'll check back later.

We'll keep Brad and his family in our thoughts and prayers here too.

Yeah after that bombshell its kinda hard to think of what to say. I'ts odd that you can virtually talk to someone everyday for 10 years and not have ever met him in person. I would have enjoyed having a beer with him and meeting his wife of 42 years. He was a good guy online and in real life and I will miss his posts a lot. I will also miss giving him grief over his beloved Viqueens and Twinkies and Golden Goophers...... or listening to some music he came up with...... Godspeed Brad Preston....

In honor of that I am going to watch football on the big screen all day in the big chair........ live large everyday Guru's

Looks like the heated water hose we bought is ok. After further investigation we have a frozen line somewhere in the RV. The RV is suppose to have a heated underbelly. All this means is that when the heater is on is is suppose to blow some warm air around the tanks which just so happens to be near the water lines but it seems that is no guarantee that they will not freeze. So now it is a waiting game.

I have to confess, I’m not on here enough to know who everyone is by name. I went back to 1/1 to figure out who Brad is. I knew we have a guru In Minnesota, but not well enough to say for sure who.
I like all of you, and I also feel the loss of one this group.
Rest In Peace Brad.

That’s a great gesture and an honor for Brad. It would be nice to know when they have his “Celebration of life”. I don’t know if I could make it or not, but I might try.

I just saw this terrible news. I really enjoyed reading his posts, always made me smile! I'm sure he was a good man without ever meeting him.
Sincere condolences to the family.
