Up and around. As I said last night, it was a sad but good day. Today, it's a cold start, but promises to warm up some, but breezy.

I have several things to do, so I'll get busy doing those things.

Have a great day.

Coming around a little on what's ailing me but it's been a long, tedious haul. Sinusitis, bloated feeling, scratchy sore throat and occasional coughs. Made me think of going and getting a prostate exam, colonoscopy, chest x-ray and a few other tests I've laid by the wayside. Then again, if I felt good, what do I need with tests.

KANSAS HAS A DAY? WHO KNEW? IS IT IN ADDITION TO THE USUAL SEVEN OR HAVE THEY BEEN CONSOLIDATED INTO ONE TO MAKE THINGS SIMPLE FOR US OLD FOLKS?

MIKE, YOU HAVE MY SYMPATHY. WE LIVED IN A TRAVEL TRAILER FOR A WHILE ONE WINTER WITH TWO KIDS. REAL TOGETHERNESS, THAT---

IT'S CLEAR AND COLD IN THE NATIONS, THE CHEROKEES ARE PUTTING ON THEIR LONG WOOLLIES. THE '87 HAS A BRAKE PROBLEM. PEDAL WAS GOING WAY DOWN, FLUID WAY, WAY DOWN. GOT A LEAK THERE, SOMEWHERE. I'LL TAKE IT IN TO DAVE TOMORROW. NOTHING ON THE AGENDA TODAY BUT KEEPING WARM :-)

I just bought some Progresso Chicken and Vegetable last night. If nothing else I'll get 100% of my daily requirement for sodium.

Yes, chicken soup! And a big healthy steak and bourbon! Yes, bourbon! That'll do it! Hell anything but all those tests yikes. Makes everything on me hurt thinking bout all those.
Counting down to surgery Monday. Afraid of it but can't wait at the same time. I feel like I have a demon cornered and am hoping for a 180 change in quality of life out of this.
Another slow day at work, except I'm expecting a truck to come in for measuring for a real estate firm. Of course, they choose the coldest days of the year to bring it in. Whoever sent me this cold snap you can come get it back now. I'm done with it.

Good Morning CGs!

Coooooold here. 3 right now. It will be -22 overnight. Air temp, not windchill. Tomorrow is the big nasty with horrible windchill temps. Most schools and service related businesses have cancelled already. I'm not sure if the post office will be delivering. I know garbage won't get picked up. Not much you can do but bundle up and hold on.

I'm pining for some nice weather and some seat time in the Vette.

Gris, good luck with the car. Don't be surprised if it needs a master cylinder.

Hope everyone has a great day!

It will be cold here but not like up north.....heck that's old time Montana cold. -40 below stuff.... I suppose its the global warming thing again....

I will be ensconced in the warm office working on officy things and keep thinking of Florida next month.....which is at 59 degrees at the present. Not warm enough but better then 14 where we are.

Stay warm Guru's...... tommy.....Mrs. Grass soup with extra noodles is the best for when feeling under the weather.......sadly the Golden Egg is no longer being offered in the soup I suppose in an ill begotten attempt at being more healthy without the added fat and salt that made it taste so good.....

Was chilly today, but the wind didn't blow as hard as they were predicting, so not bad. I got quite a few things done.

Kansas Day....the day Kansas became a state, in 1861.

I am working all day at the MS basketball tourney tomorrow, five games. Two in the morning and three in the afternoon.
