Cold this morning, but clear, sunny and some extra snow on the ground. Not enough to cause much issue. Supposed to warm up the next couple days, then back into the deep freeze and more snow over the weekend.

As I predicted, we lost last night.....but we gave them a run for 3 quarters, so that was a moral victory. First round of playoffs next Tuesday. We play a team we've played before and beat them......doesn't mean a thing though in the whole scheme of things.....

I have a few things to do in the shop, but need to go see the CPA this morning too. I trust you all will have a great Wednesday.

OVERCAST AND 40 DEGREES THIS MORNING, THE RAIN IS OVER FOR A DAY OR TWO, ACCORDING TO OUR INFALLIBLE WEATHER WIZARDS. NO TELLING HOW MUCH RAIN WE GOT, THE GAUGE FELL OVER.

HAD SUPPER YESTERDAY EVENING AT THE DEAD LOBSTER, GOOD FOOD BUT I G0T A SENSE THAT THEY WEREN'T DOING WELL. WE DON'T EAT THERE MUCH BUT I'D HATE TO SEE THEM FOLD.

FOUND A BD PRESENT FOR DARLING WIFE, SO ALL THAT'S LEFT OF THE END-OF-WINTER GIFT CYCLE IS THE ANNIVERSARY. THERE'S ALWAYS SOMETHING---

KEEP UP THE FIRE, GURUS!

Good morning, all.

The University is closed today because of the incoming snow, which started about half an hour ago. So, I'm sitting at home, typing away, and hoping we keep our power.

Good morning gang.
Stayed home today. Still running a fever and ache in my upper shoulders and neck. Today is going to be spent resting and trying to get better.

Best of luck with the power John.
Have a good day gang.

Thanks, Gris. All the beautiful old growth trees we have in our area are a big vulnerabilty in a snow/ice storm like we're getting.

John you better get down to the box store and pick up a mega watt generator to keep you going...... or not.... We have a place on our electric pole where we can plug in to light up the house with our porta power unit..... in all the years we have been here we have never had to use it.....came close a few times and once I was out to get it all plugged in and fired up and the lights came back on...... we are fortunate that there are rough men willing to go out in any weather to work on the power grid to keep us going......

So we are having a snow day here also....much happy is my teacher wife....... and more coming......

Keep your powder dry pilgrims......

Good luck with your power John. Ours went out briefy last night. Of course, me knowing Arron just bought a generator, wasn't worried. Till he announced he's yet to have it connected to the house. (rolleyes). Figures. So we had a nice unintentional candlelight via battery take out Mexican dinner. My front yard looks like a lake and the town is flooded once again. Severe storms this weekend.
Arron left this morning for tech school in Kansas City, MO and they're due a few inches of snow. No one could tell him if snow was cancelled or not and he told them if he drove that far he better get credit no matter if it cancels or not. Can't blame him there. 7 hours.
Get well soon Mike and the rest of you try to have a good rest of the day

Went on my delivery and was just supposed to drop it at the door. The guy asked if I would help him move them to a patio. I always help them even though it's not part of my job. I was rewarded with a $40 tip. Thank you very much. I used to decline tips but no more. I need some pocket change for the slots. ;)
