Another early start, even though it's 8am...somehow it feels like 7.

Getting ready to head over to the 'city' again, not sure how long it will take today.

I'll check back once I get home. Have a a great Sun day.

OVERCAST AND COOL IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING. THE OKC CREW STILL ASLEEP AND THE HOUSE IS QUIET, MAYBE I SHOULD PUT MY HEARING AIDS IN :-)

TOMMY, I ALSO QUIT WALKING TO WHERE DW IS TO FIND OUT WHAT SHE'S SAYING. IF YOU WANT TO TALK TO ME LOOK AT ME, SO I CAN SEE WHAT YOU'RE SAYING.

OPEN AGENDA TODAY EXCEPT FOR CLOCK SETTING. YESTERDAY THE WIND WAS UP EVEN BY WESTERN OKLAHOMA STANDARDS, BUT THE SUN WAS OUT ALL DAY.

Taking a slow stride day doing this and that. Getting a few minor tasks done and paying the bills. Working on a no pressure day. It ain't over till it's over. ;)

Afternoon all.
We're off to get our new mattress we bought last night. Other than that it's going to be a quiet day hopefully.

Have a good day gurus.

Good Evening CGs!

Been fighting with the wife's car the past few days. What I thought was a bad CV axle turned out to be a bad front u-joint on the driveshaft. It's a "staked" design which is supposed to be non serviceable. If you grind down the peened area in the yoke you can press out the u-joints. Unfortunately these were seized in there pretty good. Fought with it last night and gave up. I decided to give it another go today. I was able to press the joint out enough to cut the end off the bearing cap and then drive the sleeves out with an air hammer. Got the new u-joints installed in the driveshaft. Still haven't installed the driveshaft in the car yet. Let's hope it works.

Took the kids for ice cream and then to run some errands. They are getting ready for bed soon. That hour we lost is noticeable today.

Hope everyone had a great day!

No sleeping 'til noon for me. We finish as much of the cabinets as we could, but couldn't do them all as we needed the plumber and electrician to come do some work. So we removed a French door out to the patio and framed it in. Back tomorrow to remove a window and put in a patio slider door out to the patio, remove the island that is there and install the new one and install the peninsula cabinets near where the patio door is going (have to get that in first). Then off to the bedroom to remove a door and put in a window there (freaking odd arrangement) Hopefully the plumber and electrician will show up in time to get all that done.
