Love the One You're

Crosby, Stills & Nash

If you're down and confused
And you don't remember who you're talkin' to
Concentration slips away
'Cause your baby is so far away
Well there's a rose, in a fisted glove
And the eagle flies with the dove
And if you can't be with the one you love, honey
Love the one you're with
Love the one you're with
Love the one you're with
Love the one you're with
Don't be angry, don't be sad
Don't sit cryin' over good times you had
There's a girl, right next to you
And she's just waiting for something to do
And there's a rose, in the fisted glove
And the eagle flies with the dove
And if you can't be with the one you love, honey
Love the one you're with
Love the one you're with
Love the one you're with

Good morning, all!

A busy day today at work, with many meetings.

Tom, a friend of mine dragged me to see CSN in their later years—would have been August 1985. I remember being impressed with (of course) the harmonies and with Graham Nash's stage presence. They opened with "Love the One You're With."

Status: 16,000 words/48 pages.

SUNNY, COOL, AND BREEZY IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, MAY GET INTO THE 70'S THEY SAY. THE CHEROKEES ARE ALL FOR THAT. SIGNS OF SPRING ABOUND, THE GRASS IS GETTING GREEN, NO JOY FOR ME IN THAT.

DINING OUT LAST NIGHT WAS A SEMI-FIASCO. PLACE SHE WANTED TO GO HAD A BIG GROUP BANQUET GOING ON AND NOT ENOUGH STAFF. TO TOP IT OFF OUR WAITRESS WAS A DUFFUS. FOOD WAS OK THOUGH.

GOT TO DO SOME FENCE REPAIR TODAY, NOT SOMETHING TO LOOK FORWARD TO. TOMORROW MORNING I TAKE SWEETHEART THE BLUETIC OVER TO DOGGY-DOC DAUGHTER TO BE SPAYED. HAD TO PUT THAT OFF UNTILL HER HEART WORMS WERE KILLED OFF.

JOHN, WHAT'S THE MAYBE BOOK ABOUT?

Mighty big start on a maybe book - sounds like you're making good progress
Sunny and cool here, but we keep managing to get into the 30s at night again. Wondering if that will ever ever end? We've bout had enough. And of course, more rain on the way.
Trying to get a tailgate wrap done was supposed to print yesterday and the dude has a 'marketing lady' who is absolutely stupid as sh*t. She has wasted two extra hours of my time (for which he will be billed $65 an hour for) and delayed his install by two days. All for ignorant questions and rearranging of certified roofing and social media logos wanting them put in places they can't be put or else they'll fall off the edge of the tailgate. Kinda obvious. Then says she hasn't seen many wraps to compare to. Seriously lady? You not have google? Or can't manage to see my work page? Or even drive around town? Or understand "rolling billboard" marketing basics? Then gets upset when she has a hard time reading the tiny print on her proof and will it actually print fuzzy? FFS it's a 10-inch email-able proof of a 63-inch tailgate. I can't email the whole full resolution huge thing. Welcome to come up here and look. Perhaps marketing isn't suited for her. Window licking perhaps?

had the 56 out for its first run of the season....had to go to the store....and some errands..... car ran good..... simple is good.... folks want to put FI on these older cars and in my opinion that is just more to go wrong. Good old 4 bbl's slopped fuel into a billion sbc's for a lot of years..... dat's good enough for me.

of course I have a newer Edelbrock 500 cfm 4 bbl..... that makes a lot of difference...

That story was painful to read. Guess I just didn't care for the writers style. Gave me a Vulcan headache.

Hey guys....another busy day. A bit of work before my lumber truck showed up, assembled the vanity for the basement of the rectory, mounted the doors. Unloaded the truck, put the lumber away then went up to Rosie's office to template the counter tops. Came home and grabbed a bite to eat. Then loaded up the bathroom vanity, top and my tools and went over to install it. My neighbor, Tom, is the plumber, because, you guys know how much I love plumbing. Finished up that then went home to start on the counter tops for Rosies' office. While I was working on that the CNC was cutting the plaques for the local car show (Memorial weekend), and built a cheapy cabinet a local Do-it guy needed for a project he is working on (an odd size he couldn't find anything close). Tomorrow I'll finish up the counter tops and try to get those installed.

The weather was really nice. Weather gurus said it was to be really windy. And the wind did blow, about 3am. By daybreak the wind had gone down and it was beautiful and reached a high of 80. Not quite as warm tomorrow and a chance for rain.

Sorry the dinner last night wasn't what it should have been Gris, sometimes it happens. VB, people are freaking ID10Ts. They think they know it all, instead of listening to experience. Keep going John, 20k is just around the corner. I always liked CSN. Marcus, drive that thing.

They finally approved the tailgate, it's in the printer. Dude wanted to know could he still get it installed today? Heck no lol. Was supposed to print YESTERDAY, then additional dry time with heavy black ink background before being laminated. Install today this morning. Starting this afternoon, boss out for the week installing paint protection film on-site at Elite Autos, LLC on someone's brand new Ford GT. He won't get an install now till at least Monday.
I've been offered a cash side job at the local liquor sto. The people I know who own it, have two here in town, one within walking distance to the house. Considering it.
