Good Morning CGs!

Thursday was filled with rain although it wasn't as cool as the last few days. Friday should be clear and nice. Looking forward to it.

Napa is having a sale on synthetic oil with a filter so I need to slide over there and pick up a jug. The Corvette needs a change when I pull it out of storage at the end of the month. Needs a rad cap, too. All you guys talking about rejex, I need to clay bar and wax it, too. My buddy manages a car wash and detail shop so he's going to give me a few pointers.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Morning guys...I'm up near normal time, because i told the guy I'd be at his house by 8:30. High 40s now and headed to mid 70s. Should be a nice day.

This is a milepost (pardon the pun) post #10,000. Way behind most of the rest of you!

Matt, why don't you pay the guy to detail your Vette and pick up a few pointers as you watch?

Good morning. Picked up Sue's 911 last night. After the detailing the haze had been lifted and she sported a nice shine. New fan motor for the interior had to be replaced before I brought it home. Expensive part in a hard to get to location. Topped off the freon so it blew nice and cool. On the way home while I was following Sue a guy pulled up next to her in a very clean lifted Toyota Tundra TRO 4x4. Mind you, this is about 4 blocks from the pick up point. He said to her. "Do you want to sell that car? I'll give you cash." Of course, her response was "She's not for sale.". It is a beautiful car. Always an attention getter and always gets comments from savvy Porsche lovers and some not so savvy ones too. The car had been in the shop for two months. As she is driving home a number of bees flew out of the vents. She had to pull over and kill a few of them before she could continue. She was afraid she might get stung and she didn't have a epi-pen. Anyway, she got home and I vacuumed up some dead bees. With Sue, it's always somethin. lol.

BEES? Blowing out of the vents while driving???? Bees would be the new owners of the car. I'd walk home. Solid nope right there.
Dreary day again today, busy in the office. Was hoping for a quiet day to work on some of my own things I need to do, alas someone brought me a Mack cab so....
Additionally, Adobe CC hates my guts so my Illustrator wants to update and it's not working and I'm bout to throw the tower in the street.
I've also got a small HP laptop here that needs updated from Windows 7 home premium to Windows 10 Pro, and I do not have the time and would like to find a way to do that without spending $200. Seems a bit insane. Need it to use in the shop at home for diagnostic things for cars. The new GM crap won't run on the Win 7 anymore, it has to have 10.
Hope y'all have a better afternoon.

Well, I finished up the crown and trim for the guy about noon. Then worked on several little things at #2s house that she had been renting to a 'friend'...some friends, they left the place a freaking mess...a couple broken windows, holes in the walls and doors, filthy carpets. #2 was livid last night when she went in for the first time. I fixed most of the holes in the walls, took the window up to see it they can fix it. The other one I'll have to do in place.

Went out for a little while to watch #2GS play golf. The temps were nice...ended up a high of 79 today, but the wind was blowing pretty hard. Not necessarily a good day to golf.

Back home and the piece for my cabinets showed up, so I could finish assembling that one. And I have arranged to install them Monday.

Doesn't seem like I accomplished much today, but the day flew by.
