Morning guys.... Rainy this morning. 50 now headed to low 80s. I need to get over to the next town over to finish up a small job.

Last night was the first night for Men's Night golf. I didn't play well, but had fun and the steak was good.

I had a call from a lady who was having problems setting up her stream TV. I went over to help them with that and while I'm there, I got another call from another lady with the same problem, I'm going over there later to get her going. The 'cable company' (local office manager a former student) is giving out my name and number to people who want/need help getting setup.

Welcome back Tommy!

HI BOB, DID YOU FIND A DRY SPOT TO LAND ON?

HAZY, COOL, AND CALM THIS MORNING IN THE NATIONS, THE CHEROKEES ARE JUST GLAD IT'S NOT RAINING.
SPEAKING OF WHICH, THE CHEROKEE NATIONAL ELECTION IS COMING UP, WITH THE USUAL CHARGES, COUNTER CHARGES, AND LAWSUITS. TRIBAL POLITICS HAVE IMPROVED TO THE POINT THAT THEY ARE NOT SHOOTING EACH OTHER ANY MORE, BUT IT'S STILL EXCITING.

GOT ERRANDS TO RUN TODAY, DOG FOOD, BIRD SEED, LIGHT BULBS, REQUIRE RESTOCK. SO IT'S OFF TO THE FARM STORE AND WALLY-WORLD THIS MORNING.

SOME THINGS ARE JUST BETTER LEFT UNSAID. AND I USUALLY REALIZE IT RIGHT AFTER I SAY THEM.

Well, I finished up the job pretty quickly this morning, took about an hour. I headed home, unloaded the tools, then called the lady about her stream TV. Took about an hour, went out and climbed in my pickup, it was raining a little. started the pickup and looked up and my windshield was cracked about a foot, directly in my eyeline. CRAP. I'll get a new one installed tomorrow.

Back to the old routine. The problem with routines is they are so routine.

Had a good dinner at our favorite local I-talian eatery. I had an Antipasto salad and a meaty stromboli. Being an aging gentleman (term used loosely) I could only eat about 1/2 of each. I'll get to eat it all over again tomorrow.

Thanks for asking. Things have gotten better, now waiting for the paperwork to go thru for the final determination.

But, as my life of drama unfolds, I was working on the Vette on Sunday, and managed to put a 3/16” drill thru my right middle finger. In one side, and out the other. If it wasn’t so burned-danged funny I’d have to be embarrassed!
It just goes to show you, even if you’ve been doing it for 30 years like I have, you still make stupid mistakes.
And again, the adventure continues!

Good evening gang.

We had some good news today. The Mrs had her check up from surgery last week and the skin graft took. So that means is that she can talk better now that her tongue isn't tied to her gum. Next is a waiting game to make sure she is healed enough to be able to get her dentures back.

Later gang.

Oh, shortly after my post this morning, the weather forecast changed, and they said high of only mid 50s. That's where it stayed all day and now just the low 50s. We had nearly two inches of rain today. We are all glad for the rain, but ready for some sun....but it doesn't look like that's going to happen any time soon. Well, the really good thing about all this rain, is it should be recharging the aquifer and the farmers don't have to irrigate.
