Nice start to the morning. 60 now headed to mid 80s. I guess the mosquitoes have come out in force. I've got bites all up and down my arms. I've seen a few, but I'm having a hard time thinking I wouldn't see some of these biting me.

I'm setting up three more fire sticks this morning. One for an elderly lady and two for a former teaching colleague (daughter of the elderly woman). Then I'll come back and work in the shop on the table (haven't had much time to work on it the last week.

Better get to it. Have a great day.

OVERCAST, COOL, AND CALM IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, WAITING FOR THE NEXT ROUND OF RAIN. IT WAS MOSTLY SUNNY YESTERDAY SO I GOT AMBITIOUS AND MOWED THE OBSTACLE COURSE. SAW A COUPLE OF ITTSY-BITSY BUNNIES, HOPE THEY ESCAPE THE CATS---

HW62 BETWEEN FT GIBSON AND MUSKOGEE IS REPORTED OPEN, ONE LANE EACH WAY, SOME EXTENSIVE BACKUPS WILL RESULT FROM THAT :-(

AUTO ROTATION DAY WILL BE POSTPONED AS I NEED TO GET HARVEY'S OIL CHANGED TOMORROW AND TAKE THE TOMATO IN FOR NEW SHOCKS AND WINDSHIELD HEADER MOLDING, IF I CAN GET IT DONE BETWEEN RAIN STORMS. (MY MECHANIC HAS VERY LITTLE INDOOR STORAGE FOR VEHICLES AND I DON'T WANT MINE TO MELT)

Good morning gang!

LA has been a stranger than normal place... we had measurable rain last weekend... when was the last time it rained in LA on Memorial Day Weekend? I am going with never.

I had a hell of a time with SMOG... I will update later today when I have time to lay out the tale of woe...

Otherwise... had 2 wisdom teeth removed last month. The local oral surgery center, Redondo Oral Surgery Center, in Rivera Village, Torrance, CA, kicks ASS. This team is both consummate professionals and compassionate. My lower right wisdom was difficult to get out, but when done, I had NO PAIN. After the Novocaine wore off, nada... just some twinges here and there, but no throbbing pain. Amazing.

Good morning Guru's..... it rained out of nowhere last night.... holy cow did not see that coming. over an 1" so far. Price of corn will be going up again I'm betting...

Got in my Z06 NPP Mufflers to keep baby a quiet riot when I want and a full blown riot when I'm wanting to hear the sweet music of an LS engine.....

I suppose I should go to work....glad I did not put my mud boots away.... blew up the engine in my 08 Toro yesterday. It was a Kohler Courage 21 hp with a lot of hours on it...11 years worth. Just going along fine and BANG.....shrapnel everywhere....had to drag it out of he yard with the Honda 4 wheeler. Looking for a replacement engine now......

Don't get wet today......

THEY HAVE REALLY MADE ADVANCES IN ANESTHESIA AND PAIN RELIEF OVER THE YEARS. USED TO BE GETTING OVER THE ANESTHESIA WAS AS BAD AS GETTING OVER THE OPERATION; NOW IT'S NO BIG DEAL. I HAD A BROKEN MOLAR TAKEN OUT AND IT WAS ESSENTIALLY PAINLESS.
AMAZING!

GOT THE TOMATO IN THE SHOP AND DROVE HW62 FROM FT GIBSON TO MUSKOGEE. THE WEST BOUND LANES ARE ESSENTIALLY UNHARMED; THE EAST BOUND LANES, THE DOWN STREAM LANES, ARE SERIOUSLY ERODED ON THE SOUTH, DOWN STREAM SIDE. SAW ALL SORTS OF DEBRIS IN THE TREE LINES SOUTH OF THE HIGHWAY, A TRAVEL TRAILER, PROPANE TANKS, PARTS OF HOUSES, AND WHAT LOOKED LIKE A CAR.

LOOKS LIKE THE EAST BOUND WILL BE ONE LANE FOR QUITE A WHILE.

Long day guys. Setup the firestick for the older lady, things were going well, then at the point where we had to setup her stream tv password and it wouldn't take. So had to call the office and they had to do some crap manually to figure out what was wrong.

While waiting on that I had a local businessman (and friend) call me to ask if it would be ok to give my name and number out to one of his clients, whose computer had been hacked and had malware, viruses and "...probably a keylogger." Yup have her call me.

So then the office calls me and tells me they are having issues trying to get the password set for the stream tv and could I go over and start on setting up the daughter (former teaching colleague), so I told the lady I was going over to her daughters house and would be back. "So, I'm NOT going to have TV until you come back?" "Yes, maam, I'm sorry, but it's beyond my control."

So I head over to the place and start in setting things up there and she says to me, "What do you think about my router? It's kind of old." Then tells me what is going on with her WiFi......"Yea, I believe that your router is probably the cause of those problems." So I call the office and they say they can offer her the 'special deal" when people switch over. So I head to the office to grab the new router. On the way over, I get a text from them saying they got the password issue fixed. I pick up the router, and the setup info for it and head back to the mothers house to finish setting her stuff up and get her going.

After that I head back to the daughters house and attach the new router and get it set up. My phone rings and it's another older lady (computer client) asking if I could come over and set up her streaming service "sometime". Yea, I'll stop there when I'm finished here. While finishing up the phone rings and it's the lady that my friend gave my number to and we arranged for her to bring her computer over about 3...yup. that works. So I finally get all the TVs done at the daughters house and head toward the house.

I stop and look at the lady's TVs and verify that they will both work with the firesticks. At 2:30 I finally get home and exhausted mentally. I finally work up enough energy to head out to the shop, when Rosie comes in and says there's a lady out bringing you a computer.... Oh, yea. I speak to the lady about what happened and what was going on with the computer that she knew wasn't right. I told her I'd work on it tonight.

I finally made it out to the shop about 3:30 to work on the table. I work on it for a bit and Rosie comes out and asks me if I had eaten anything...No. So she goes in the house and brings out some snacky stuff for me to get a little something in my stomach. At 5 I remember that I told the first lady and her daughter that I had written up a little tutorial on how to run the firestick and access tv shows that I would bring a copy over to them. so I grab the copies and run them back to the two of them. The mother said she was getting along pretty good, the daughter, I just wanted her to read and make changes where she thought it needed clarification.

I head back home and Rosie calls to tell me that some friends were on their way over to see us. We (the husband) and I were supposed to go golfing. When I got home and they showed up, he looked and acted as tired as I felt and we (all of us) decided to just go get something to eat and forget about the golfing for today.

Since they left, I've been working on debugging the computer.....it's time to give for the night.

I hope all of you had a great day. Goodnight.
