Cool, cloudy and a little damp this morning. We are packed up and ready to head east.

Be careful out there today. I'll check in later.

My life is going to the dogs, literally. With 2 Yorkies, a Jack Russel-Dachshund mix and a Rottie-Sheperd mix, they keep me busy. My street when I moved in was quiet but younger couples have been moving in and they bring kids and their own dogs. Plus they're building 19 houses in the 10 acre field that was across the street. Some of those houses are already occupied. For some ungodly reason these younger folks have a propensity to walk their dogs and kids and they end up going by our house. This alerts the dogs which start there alert barking and clawing at the door to get to the intruders walking down the street. Between their antics with people, dogs and kids, the UPS, FEDEX, USPS, Amazon and the delivery vehicles bringing in construction supplies to the homes being built, plus the workers coming and going, my house has gone to the dogs. They were basically left to bark and I actually wanted them to do that at one time but the citifying is taking it's toll. It's making my life ruff.

ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL MORNING IN THE NATIONS: SUNNY, CALM, AND ALMOST COLD. ANOTHER TOP DOWN DAY FO' SHO'.

THE NATIONAL SOCIALIST DISINFORMATION MEDIA IS BRAYING ABOUT "DEMOCRATIC SOCIALISM". THIS IS AN OXYMORON; THERE IS NOTHING DEMOCRATIC ABOUT A SYSTEM WHERE THE GOVERNMENT OWNS AND CONTROLS EVERYTHING AND THE PERMANENT POLITICAL CLASS OWNS AND CONTROLS THE GOVERNMENT.

SINCE THE WEATHER IS SO NICE THINK I'LL GET OUT AND CUT SOME TREE LIMBS THAT ARE HAMPERING THE MOWING TODAY.

TOMMY, YOU SHOULD LIVE IN THE COUNTRY, NOBODY BOTHERS US OUT HERE.

Oh I almost forgot an important part of my last post. Sue said to me in a rather excited tone that a neighbors Great Dane was having puppies. Not just a small litter but apparently over 10 pups expected. Next she says "And they offered me the pick of the litter.". My response? No, no more pets, especially a Great Dane. (a small horse in a dog suit). This Vulcan woman, she is constantly involved in a hundred different things at one time. She wants to bring EVERYTHING home and who gets to deal with it? ME. Broken machinery, plants, statuary, tortoises, fish and whatever surprises come up along the way. Bored? Me? Never bored. Full of surprises and never bored. I have to go. I have some things to do.

I live in a rural area but the city is growing to me. If I go much further out I'll be in the Everglades. lol Still have a lot of groves, nurseries and farmland near us.

Yah Tommy I know what you mean.....our two Yorkies are barking at nothing outside right now...... anytime a neighbor walks out in their backyard they go nuts....or walks in front of the house on the road... they are in super protect mode all the time. ....and Lord help us if the UPS or garbage man or anyone else comes on the property...... I enjoy them a lot.......

We also were out in the country years back when we bought the place and now have houses right across the back fence. The town decided to grow this way. luckily we have a nice big tree line to separate us and in the summer you can hardly see the houses but in the winter when the leaves are gone they are all right there...... we live in the hood now.

Gotta go look at some corn......wish you could be here....... have a great day Guru's......

Guess where Sue went a few minutes ago? To watch Great Dane puppies being born. She was like "Come on. Come with me." To which I replied "No, I don't want to watch a bunch of puppies being born. It's not my thing." More than likely it would have turned into a Oh, look at this one. Which one do you like? sort of thing. NO MORE ANIMALS. Many of the ones we have are going to outlive us and then some. Koi can live 50 years or more, tortoises the same. Our bird is at least 15 years old and and he could have another 15 to go. The cat and Schatzie are almost 7. The Yorkies around 5 and Snoop doggie dog is turning 1. Sonny-boy gets to inherit the whole sha-bang when we return to dust. When I recently told him that he said. "Don't be in a hurry." We only have one heir. Even if we spend whatever we want there will still be a nice parting gift left for him. Sue and I learned a valuable lesson early in life. "Live below your means." That was easy. Over two thirds of our lives we were broke.

Hey guys... made it to KC and haven’t done much since. Stopped at FIL house to visit him for a bit. Once here we took #1 and SIL out to eat then back to the house. It has been a really nice day. Upper 70s to low 80s. Looks like it could be damp tomorrow......
