Happy Father's Day

I went back to bed for another hour so it has started off well. Not anticipating any acknowledgement from Sonny-Boy since he doesn't celebrate anything. Dark clouds overhead and thunder making it's presence known. I'm gonna do something just don't know what it will be yet.

Morning guys... up early and off to church. When we came home last night (after sitting at the dance recital for 3 1/2 hours and going out to eat) it was raining cats and dogs. This morning it is clear and damp....this is the KC I remember in June.

I got a card from #1, well, I am here at her house so that was expected. I also got a text from #3. #2 is camping, so I’m guessing that she hasn’t even thought about it.

I hope all of you fathers have a great day out there.

I plan on eating red meat and mowing the lawn.....maybe one cold Coors Light when I'm done.....

Had a good trip down to see Ma and the Step Dude yesterday...... I always come back shaking my head at the state of elder care...... it seems to be all about milking medicare for all its worth at some point. For $8K a month you think you could get some good help but that does not seem to be the case. Tomorrow I will make a call and light a few folks in management up about what the word Service means...... sonsabiches........ I understand it demeaning work and sometimes almost impossible work but if they need better people they need to pay top dollar......not minimum wage...... I am looking for alternatives if anyone has got any....... Rant over.....

Have a happy Fathers day everyone.... its good to be a Dad..... it has defined my life mostly.... and I'm thankful for my children.....

Rock on Guru's

Good Afternoon CGs!

Happy Father's Day to all.

Kids woke me up this morning and had a scavenger hunt for me to find my gifts. A nice little game that they enjoyed.

This afternoon we have a BBQ at BIL's house.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Text messages from #2 and grandsons 1 and 2 (I’ve been more a father to them than their father).

SIL grilled burgers, brauts and dogs for lunch. His folks, his brother/wife and kids and his mothers’ mother were all over as well. Good food and company, nearly perfect day.
