SUNNY, CALM, AND MILD IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, GONNA BE A SUMMER DAY THEY SAY.
GOT THE OBSTACLE COURSE MOWED YESTERDAY AFTERNOON; AFTER TWO HOURS PLUS BUMPING AND LURCHING AROUND ON THE MOWER I REWARDED MYSELF WITH A SUPER CHILI CHEESEBURGER AT THE BOOMERANG. NOTHING ON THE AGENDA TODAY BUT A BEER RUN. DARLING WIFE DUE HOME TOMORROW. Attach file:  DT.jpeg (6.46 KB) |

You know Gris they make these new mowers with these floating seats now... I have one on my big Toro 60" and It changed my life..... it's called the My Ride system.... I have about 2 acres to cut of rough ground on the acerage and that does not include the house lawn. I actually have an 08 Toro 50" with bagger for that. I now look forward to getting on big Bertha and riding her for hours....... wait.......that does not sound good...... anyway I love to mow now...... just thought you should know.....
 https://youtu.be/tauYnVE6ykU Put on my new tensioner pulleys last night and my new belts on the GS..... got the banged up hands to prove it...... some very tight spaces to get into on a Corvette but what else is new .... Right: I still remember trying to change the last spark plug on the passenger side on my 90 C4...... nasty...... Next are the hoses and the mufflers..... baby will be 10 in September....so doing some prevent maintenance... Gotta go.......enjoy stuff today Gurus...... |

Nice progress on the book! Reminds me it's about that time of year the local paper hits me up for their Concierge book layout. I could use the cash but after the last couple of things I've done for them, really rather pass I think. And my friend/publisher has retired so I've not even met his replacement. Just not feeling it with them.
Stormed like all getout here during the night, 70 mph winds and a spectacular lightning show and an impressive amount of rain. This morning, looked as though none of it happened. If you holler in the woods and you're alone, did you really holler? It seems that 20-page letter I sent to the nursing home complaint folks got to someone, was called late yesterday (from "unknown" which my phone sends to voice mail) and it was them. They informed me they've been there all week 'investigating' . I called her at the home and she confirmed they'd been talking to her and running about, said it's been 'crazy' up there. And that no one knew they were coming. I told her that I knew. She was like "wtf". Saga continues. Have a good day y'all, weekend is in sight |

Glad I cut the grass yesterday as today it's cold and rainy. Still haven't worked on the Corvette. Soon. That's what I keep saying. Hope everyone had a great day! |
