It's been record breaking heat around here so thirst and hydration become routine. My sweat glands have been getting a good workout. Had some large nails and a couple of fence gate hooks that I chose to grind off with the new grinder. Worked fine, just like a ..... grinder. The tool set came with three 4ah lithium-ion batteries so I had plenty of power to last through the day. Working cordless has been a great pleasure. Well, maybe not a pleasure but they have been great. Used 4 out of the 8 tools so far but I'm sure I'll be using all 8. The flashlight, hacksall, multitool and 1/2 inch impact wrench are all waiting their turn.

Ran out of French Vanilla coffee creamer this morning and had to resort to milk and sugar for my second cup. Suprisingly it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

Morning guys...up and at 'em, this morning. Rosie has her +10 year colonoscopy this morning, so I will go up to the hospital and sit while that goes down (or up, however you want to look at it). She wasn't too thrilled yesterday with the prep.

It's warm this morning, 70 and headed to, near, one hundred and breezy.

Not sure what is on tap, playing it by ear until after getting home from the procedure.

colon prep: barf

71 here today and raining. I herd thunder when I left and was up early so came on in to the office to dodge it. Just hiding out in my cave for a little bit before turning on all the lights over here. So far my accomplishments include getting trashed on a FB post where a friend asked his collective about opinions and what we'd like to see from something "new" in town. I said I'd like an adult place where we could sit in quiet and have a drink and not hear some loud ass kid. Of course all the stay at home mommies with toddlers on their hip are bashing me to death . Figures. There's enough "family" places here already, we need one that isn't. I don't hate kids I just hate hearing it yell while I"m having dinner. I pay good money for my food, too. And, I don't think it's "cute" when snot-nosed spoiled Suzy whines and hollers and throws her food. I expect kids in Chuck E Cheese or McDonalds but not in a fine place. I mean, you take your kids out when in church and they disrupt everyone? No? Why restaurant no different?
Hope everyone has a good day.

SUNNY AND WARM IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, SEEMS A LOT LIKE SUMMER. NOTHING MUCH ON THE AGENDA, NEED TO RESTOCK BIRDSEED,DARLING WIFE WANTS TO EAT CHINESE TONIGHT.

GOT THE 490 BACK TOGETHER BUT IT WILL NOT FIRE. I'M BEGINNING TO REGRET BUYING THAT THING. CIVILIAN SELF LOADERS ARE SELDOM DESIGNED WITH TAKE DOWN AND MAINTENANCE IN MIND. KINDA LIKE CORVETTES---

THE DIM DEBATES WERE LIKE OLD SOLDIERS TELLING WAR STORIES; THE FIRST LAIR DIDN'T STAND A CHANCE.

SO HERE’S THE EQUATION:
OPEN BORDERS + NO ID AT POLLS + FREE STUFF + DEBT CANCELLATION + URBAN IGNORANCE = DAS REICH AMERIKANER
OF COURSE, THE PEASANTS MUST BE DISARMED. IT’S SO MESSY IMPOSING SOCIALISM ON ARMED PEASANTS---

Guess Rosie had a rip roaring good time.

Letty, kids, I try to cruise when kids are in school . There are always some on board but it's packed with kids in the summer and on school breaks. The casino doesn't have that problem though.

Went HD shoppig today. Got some more lumber and hardware plus a window. Looked at the doors. Not screwing around today. The batteries are getting a break. Dinner with a former coworker and his wife at 05:00 at our favorite Italian restaurant.

Tommy when we go to the beach I like to go when kids are in school as well. Same for dinner, I always ask for a 'quiet spot' or one away from the crowd. Not long ago at Olive Garden, we asked for a booth away from others and were seated nicely. Not long after, soon as we began to eat, a diff server put two families RIGHT beside us with small kids. One table was fine, kids made noises and that was ok. The other - OMG there as a boy over there plenty big enough to have his ass paddled hollering and showing out, throwing crap. Mom sat right there and did nothing. The 'quieter' table when kid would get loud you'd hear her trying to correct the kid and use it as a teaching experience. Well done to that lady.

Thermometer says 101.8...officially it's 100 here. Headed over to mow the lawn at the storage shed. Probably ought to wait until it cools off, but, I want to go get it done.
