A hot and humid hello from the tropics. The moisture has moved into the gulf. A week and a half to our Caribbean escape. This month it was 8 years ago that we bought this new to us house and I'm still trying to get it the way I want it. Better get it done pretty quick if I ever want to just sit back and enjoy it. it's getting there. big push over the next year. I hope to re-retire at around 65.

Tommy I think retirement is highly overrated ...... unless you have a ton of money.....which is hard to find these days...... anyway idle hands are the devils workshop...so that is why you should keep working...

More rain last night and the humids are going to be upon us..... some villages out west received between 6 to 8" of rain a couple of nights ago over a wide area. The rivers downstream are now out of there banks and more flooding ensues...... I still like it better then a drought...

The all time record for rainfall happened right here in the small village we live in back in 1950.... 13" in 12 hours....... Yikes.....

Better get out my mud boots..... have a grand old day Guru's

I have work to last a lifetime. Just want to try to confine it to the home front. One day yard, one day inside house, one day cars and trucks, one day this and that and three days off

Retirement? What's that ? I think I've heard of it, I'll probably never be able to.
Rained here just now. Was fine earlier however very hot and very humid, 101 for index although temp was 87.
Arron is on the motorcycle so he's not happy to go home.
Some motivation for the day:

Hey guys...another busy day. Lumber truck arrived at 7:15. Right after that I decided to go do a little job I told a lady I would get to ASAP, then proceeded to put her off. I grabbed #3 grandson to help me do that one. Finished that up about noon. Had a blood donation appointment right after lunch. Then went over to another elderly ladys' house to look at installing handrail into the house and down the stairs to the basement. A quick trip to another lady's house for a computer problem. Back home to work in the shop for a bit and then remember I told a friend I'd substitute in the golf league he's in.

All this in upper 80s temps and humidity levels higher than we are used to.

Tomorrow, I have to be over to the 'city' before 8am to have some recall service done to the pickup. While there I'll try to pick up the handrail pieces I need for the stairs. And in the afternoon I have two more people to set up Firesticks up for...both in their 90s.

I need to go shower and hit the hay.
