Nursery sitting 10:00 - 01:00. I'm sure I can find 3 hours of stuff I need to do over there. Hopefully customer flow will be low. I hate doing sales. I don't mind collecting the money I just hate doing sales. Need to pick up some more hardware and lumber. Single digit countdown to vacation. Caribbean cruise to San Juan, St Thomas, Dominican Republic and Grand Turk. I mix the itineraries up between Eastern, Southern and Western Caribbean so we don't get bored with the ports. I've been to most of the ports a number of times so I'm familiar with the places we go. We enjoy going to San Juan and St Thomas. Dominican Republic is nice and Grand Turk is a tourist island. I can do Grand Turk in an hour and be done. Go back for a nice afternoon nap that day. Sea days are good nap days too. On a typical day we stay up late, sleep late, breakfast just before they close around 11:30 and on sea days they have a sea day brunch till about 01:00. Dinner in the main dining room almost every night and a trip or two to the steak house. Of course there are number of hours playing games of chance.

OVERCAST AND COOL IN THE NATIONS AT THE MOMENT, WILL HEAT UP LATER.

GOT A WEATHER SURPRISE YESTERDAY. IT WAS HOT AND HUMID X 2 YESTERDAY MORNING; I DRIPPED SWEAT DOING A FEW OUTSIDE THINGS. WHEN THE HUMIDITY IS UP EVEN EARLY MORNING ACTIVITY IS CRUMMY. TOOK A NAPUS ORDINARIUS AFTER LUNCH AND WHEN I AWOKE IT WAS CLOUDY, WINDY, AND TEN DEGREES COOLER.
SQUALL LINE CAME THROUGH, COOLED THINGS OFF WITH NO RAIN HERE.
NICE.

HISTORICALLY, WE HAVE HAD A RABBIT IN THE WEST YARD AND ONE IN THE EAST YARD. NOW WE HAVE A "PACK" OF COTTONTAILS IN THE EAST AND NONE IN THE WEST. THEY HANG OUT MOSTLY BETWEEN THE HOUSE AND THE BARN, ARE UNUSUALLY BOLD FOR COTTONTAILS.
THE VOLUNTEER BARN CAT MUST NOT BE MUCH OF A HUNTER.

DW DUE BACK FROM ARKANSAS TONIGHT. ALL WENT WELL AT MAYO.

Morning guys.... I’m over to the ‘city’ already and waiting. It was a cool but humid drive over this morning. I had the windows cracked and the rear window open. Supposed to reach low 90s today.

That’s good to hear, about your son Gris. Tommy, you deserve the break away from work.

I have some things to do when I get back home...actually, I have things to do here in the ‘city’ once my pickup is complete. Wish they would give me a loaner car to run my errands. They never offer.

Have a great day.

Reading all your stuff bout makes me tired. Early into the office today as I have a doc appt at 10:30 so I can get started on some things and offset being gone. The sweltering heat yesterday saw a break with some storms that moved through and gave some much needed rain. And it cooled it down to 78. Nice evening out, went to see the sunset down the road and a light supper.
Sun is out today but Saturday the coastal storms end up this way.

THIS HAS BEEN A VERY NICE MORNING. I WOKE UP AT O500, COULDN'T GO BACK TO SLEEP, SO I GOT AN EARLY START. FINISHED UP LOTS OR CHORES, WENT OVER TO MUSKOGEE TO PICK UP SOME BIRDSEED (GOT TO KEEP THOSE BIRDS COMING, THE CAT NEEDS HER EXERCISE) AND ATE BREAKFAST AT THE "JIMMY'S EGG" OVER THERE.
I WAS NOT INVISIBLE LIKE IN TAHLEQUAH. THE WAITRESS HAD A WORLD CLASS SMILE.

AND IT'S STILL ONLY 80 DEGREES. FANTASTIC!

I’m wearing one of my Corvette hats, sitting here in the waiting area, a guy walks through, and seeing my hat, stops and introduces himself as the general manager, and asking me if I’m excited about the new C8. I told him I’m holding judgment until I actually see one. He’s all excited because he “has to go” to Spring Mountain for training on the new Corvette...tough life . Says they sold one of the last ZR1s and was hoping to get it here so he could drive it, but the buyer was doing a museum delivery, so he won’t be able to even see it until they bring it in for service. I told him I hoped to see the new Corvette when we are at the museum.

Free balcony and drinks for Sue and I and $500 casino cash. Just paid port charges, taxes and vacation protection. Yup, Carnival keeps us coming back, for now. Two more booked. A free balcony and drinks and maybe some casino cash in Oct out of NYC to the Northeast. Dec 30 New Years cruise out of Miami. 4 days, free interior and drinks. Both of those have the same add on charges as listed on the first one. Usually between $400 and $600 total. ;)

Just hanging out on a Friday.
Two weeks ago I got laid off for lack of incoming work at the shop. However I’m pretty sure my being sick for 6 weeks at age 64 probably had some unofficial influence on their decision.
But my health is looking up, so now I need to try to figure out how to find work in a local downturn.
Enough of my crap, You guys have a great weekend!
I’m gonna hit a show at a local Chevy dealer tonight, then the “plans are oil change on the ‘Burb, coolant level sensor on the iPala, and a couple more cruises tomorrow.
