Wazzup homies....... just got back from an epic run to the southlands..... we had a blast..... ate good food and listened to good music and did all things Corvette...... yesterday we ran 830 miles crossing the Tennessee River the Ohio River , the Mississippi and the Missouri River....... car was flawless and so quiet with the NPP mufflers on the mild mode..... Teeb was there and we all ran the Corvette track at Bowling Green..... did not get to see the factory in action but will give us an excuse to go back someday....

How about that new C8? I may have to have one....... just saying.... enjoy your day Guru's.....

Slept in and then went with dad on a walk around town. He’s almost 90 so it wasn’t a quick walk, but he did make a mile. I know that everybody is busy, gone or tired from traveling.

It was pretty nice when we started the walk but it is warming up. Going to hit the mid 90s today. No rain in the near future.

We will head home after taking dad to church later this afternoon.. I hope, all of you, are having a good day

Our record is 1133 miles from Williamsburg, VA to Lenexa, KS in one day. Not in the Corvette, but an S80 Volvo.

Well, I drove that entire way....Rosie was there to help me stay awake. We did about 750 in the 94 one time. Eastern TN back to KCK.

Good cruise, nice weather. No rain. Great meals, a few deals, and a salute to the Navy seals. Of course we spent an abundance of time in the casino. Sue caught a good hand in the waning hours of the cruise to negate some of the losses. She actually had a number of good hands but gave it back over the course of the cruise. At least there was something to give back. I did well on the slots but the three card poker table kicked my ass. I too had some wins to offset but not near enough. 1st night caught 4 of a kind that paid well. I played on their money about 4 out 7 days. (Which means I lost money on three days.) We had tons of fun as always. Now ... to build up another war chest for our next cruise coming in about 10 weeks. I bet low bets because I'm a cheap bastard and don't want to give too much to the electronic bandits. On 60 cent bets I had one pay off of $454 and another for $527. Those are some rather healthy returns on short bets.

765 in a C4 is a hell of a run..... The addition of the NPP mufflers and the Michelin non run flat tires and the 600 lbs of souvenirs and our regular stuff makes for a smooth quiet ride...... I drove all the way but had some help from the wife chatting me up to make the miles go by....

The 1100 miles in a Volvo would have to qualify you for the Iron Man competition. Where you ride your motorcycle a 1000 miles a day for 10 days..... no really they do it...

BEEN A BUSY DAY, HAD TO DISPOSE OF THE THIRD COON IN A ROW, THEN DRIVE TO TULSA FOR THE GUNSHOW. SHOW WAS BETTER THAN EXPECTED, GOOD CROWD. CAME HOME BY WAY OF OKMULGEE FOR SUPPER WITH #1 DAUGHTER AND HER FAMILY.

#1 GRANDDAUGHTER IS FINISHING HER FIRST MEDICAL ROTATION IN TULSA; #3 GRANDSON HOME AFTER A TOUGH SUMMER COUNTING BUGS AND WEEDS IN KANSAS CORNFIELDS LEAVES THURSDAY FOR HIS SEMESTER IN BRAZIL.
