SUNNY AND MILD IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, WAS FOGGY EARLY BUT NOW CLEAR. THE PREDICTED "FLASH FLOOD" AMOUNTED TO LESS THAN A HALF INCH OF RAIN.
DARLING WIFE SLEEPING IN AT FAYETTEVILLE AFTER A LATE NIGHT FLIGHT FROM SF. I'M HEADING OUT FOR BREAKFAST AT THE GOLDEN CORRAL, SOS AND EGGS. I HAVE NOT EATEN THERE IN A WHILE. Attach file:  ROK.jpg (58.12 KB) |

Morning guys... Slept in until a little after 9....well not really, just got my 8 hours. I got busy trying to finish up putting a couple tools on marketplace to sell. and it took me longer than it should have trying to describe them properly/accurately/truthfully, so it was almost 1am when I went to bed.
Rosie got up and made a nice breakfast and I've not done much of anything. Heading out to the garage to let the Corvette down and check the actual mileage, as it will be required by NCM Insurance in the case I end up going with them (a high probability). I already joined the NCM as member. Going to be hot today, mid 90s and higher than normal humidity. Good day to find something to do indoors. Stay cool my friends. |

Hot and humid here also.... we discovered a downstairs closet that water had run in from the outside. Carpet was wet and there was mold on the drywall..... I found a face mask and tore out all the old carpet and cut the bad drywall out..... it was not fun. thankfully the mold and mildew was only on the surface looks like. Nothing on the walls behind. Now have to figure out how to stop the water from coming in and replace the sheetrock and paint the floor....... this old house always needs tending to......
after all that I cooked some SirLoin 1 1/2" steaks and some veggies then I felt real tired and had a great nap..... |

Sold one of the two tools I posted, and not the one I figured would sell. I think the bandsaw will sell soon though.
Humidity eased a bit this afternoon, but still hot. Worked on some plans for a couple of projects. |
