SUNNY AND WARM IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, GONNA BE ANOTHER HOT DAY. TWO SUMMER DAYS IN A ROW, THE CHEROKEES ARE NOT USED TO THAT ANYMORE.

#8 GRANDSON PASSED MUSTER, A HAPPY, ACTIVE LITTLE BOY. HIS TWO FAVORITE ENGLISH WORDS ARE "WHAT" AND "NO". HE DOES NEED FEEDING UP, THO---

DROVE THE BUMBLEBEE, USED THE AC GOING OVER TO OKMULGEE, IT KEPT UP, JUST BARELY. TEMP WAS ABOUT 96 OR SO. COMING BACK I HAD NO GIFTS AND STUFF IN THE BACK, SO I PUT IN THE NATCH VENT THINGY AND ROLLED THE WINDOWS DOWN. IT WAS COMFORTABLE ENOUGH FOR ME.

NOTHING ON THE AGENDA TODAY, DW STILL COUGHING AND WHEEZING.

Yesterday we toured a 41,000 sq ft. residence that is in the final stages of construction. 38,000 sq ft of it is living space which includes a home theater and bowling ally. It sits on 30 acres of land and has fruit trees planted on about 10 acres of it. I was last there about a year and a half ago. Absolutely unbelievable. The owner said to me you can now say you've been in the biggest house in Florida. I told him I can now say I've been in the biggest house if my life. The garage is bigger than the average home. A pond with waterfalls, swans, geese and African cranes. A huge pool, an average size pool that has water warmed to hot tub temps and a well water pool that has a constant flow of well water that averages about 72*. Also has two Tiki huts that would rival the largest structures on the Miccosukee Indian Reservation. I didn't take any pics as I did not want to invade the owners privacy. The family is very friendly with Sue and regularly invite us out to dinner. Just regular folks with a ton of money. He's a real estate developer and as we were discussing fortunes he said to me "And sometimes you just get lucky." I told him for him to amass what he has it took vision. Vision and perseverance. I'm happy for them. He started at the bottom and worked his way up. Good for him. Somebody has to do it.

Morning guys...Slept in again this morning. We also had a little rain last night, enough to make it miserable this morning. Mid 70s, but humidity levels about the same. Doesn't make me want to go out to the shop to do much.

I do need to work on a counter top for the bathroom I'm doing the cabinets for.

41k sq ft? That's big! However I have been in a bigger house.....The Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC. 179K sq ft. The largest privately owned house in the US. Even though the family doesn't actually live in the house any longer. Very impressive place and I highly recommend going there to see it.

You're right, Tommy.....more than just luck involved there. Stay cool and dry my friends.

I agree, WOW. At 41,000 sf, it sounds like a shopping mall. They’ll need at least a 48” Zero-Turn vacuum cleaner!
Your friend is proof that the American dream works.
For me, I’ve been in-and- out of so many jobs, my American dream is to keep working!
