Sigh … I couldn't even get the code right yesterday—one of those days. 30 pictures.

YOU'RE MOVING RIGHT ALONG, MUST BE GETTING CLOSE TO WRAPPING IT UP.

TOOK DARLING WIFE'S HYUNDAI IN, SHE TORE PART OF THE AIR DAM OFF ON A CURB. OF COURSE THEY DID NOT HAVE THE PART. HAVE TO GO BACK MONDAY.
ALSO DISCOVERED THE LEFT REAR TIRE ON THE BUMBLEBEE IS COMING UNGLUED, AND ORDERED TWO NEW REAR TIRES. GLAD IT DIDN'T COME APART AND TEAR UP MY PLASTIC CAR :-0

GOT EVERYTHING PUT AWAY EXCEPT THE SHOTGUN THAT NEEDS CLEANING. SOME PEOPLE ARE QUITE CASUAL ABOUT THAT,BUT I HAVE THE ILLUSION THAT A CLEAN BORE SHOOTS BETTER.

ALWAYS FORWARD, GURUS.

I don't think so—there's still a lot to discuss/explain. 40,000/50,000? Who knows …

Took me about 3 hours to pull off the superram today. I confirmed my diagnosis. Collapsed lifter. Looks like light scoring on the roller end as well which means the cam is also F'd. Great. Still need to pull the remaining lifters.

Joel - not sure what happened first. Chicken or the egg? I'm guessing the lifter collapsed and when the valve closed it pushed the rocker arm back and snapped the stud since it had no resistance on the top side. That's an uneducated guess.

Not sure if the lifter failed or got a loose metal particle in it. I'll have to pull it apart and inspect it.

John, congrats on the writing. Keep up the good work.

Hope everyone had a great day.

Hey guys....I had a hard time getting going this morning. But had a phone call asking me if I could look at a computer that was acting up, so I met the guy in the shop and never came back in the house all day. From the computer, I had another call needing some plexiglas cut, so I had them come over to do that and before they left another guy stopped by for me to cut some things for him. So, as it turns out, I didn't get to #2s house before 11:30 to finish up the floor and start the trimming. 4:45 before I finished up all the trim and caulking ... well I ran short on a couple pieces that I will have to pick up and install later. Also had to make a couple calls on my little ole ladies, as the local 'cable' company was having problems with the "stream" app...nothing I couls do, but verify for the (5) ladies that it was a problem with the "company". I'm tired again tonight and headed to bed

Oh, my post from yesterday, got lost somehow and didn't get posted, so I tried again tonight...success! Nighty night!

Marcus is correct, but that 90,000 number is usually for books without a ton of photos/tables/charts/drawings/etc. Since I plan to have at least one graphic per page, I think my word count will be less (to avoid an unweildy book). We'll see … word cound on the last and best of the travel books was about 35,000, with about 210 images spread over 96 pages.
