Good Morning CGs!

Happy Sunday to everyone. Hope you've been enjoying the weekend. Happy belated birthday to Sue. Hope you guys had a nice dinner.

Update on the car status. My buddy can over Saturday morning with his borescope. Didn't see any unusual scoring or damage to the cam. I was able to get a finger on it through the lifter bores and it felt smooth. The first good news I've gotten about the car. So a set of lifters, gaskets, some assembly lubes, and an oil change and I'll be back in business (hopefully).

Hope everyone has a great day!

SUNNY AND STICKY IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, THE CHEROKEES ARE STILL LONGING FOR FALL.

THE FUNERAL WENT WELL, BIG CROWD, SOME FROM FROM QUITE FAR AWAY. BABY DAUGHTER, WHO HAD BEEN QUITE STOIC, BROKE DOWN COMPLETELY AT THE END AND THAT SET ME OFF ALSO. THE TYSON FOLKS WERE AMAZING, AS THEY HAVE BEEN THROUGHOUT THE ORDEAL.

THE ANIMALS HAVE BEEN ACTING STRANGE SINCE WE GOT BACK. SWEETHEART DID NOT DISPLAY HER USUAL SINGLE MINDED DEVOTION TO THE FOOD DISH, BRAVECAT DID NOT WANT TO COME IN THE HOUSE THIS MORNING, AND WHITEFOOT THE BARN CAT WAS LOUNGING IN THE DRIVEWAY RATHER THAN HIS USUAL PERCH IN THE LOFT OF THE BARN. MAYBE WE'RE GOING TO HAVE AN EARTHQUAKE :-)

HOPE SUE HAD A HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

MATT, I'M GLAD YOUR ENGINE DAMAGE WAS LIMITED.

I'm only as happy as my least happy child it seems...... so difficult to see our babies in destress......

Matt glue that thing back together and go drive it hard....... that always fixes stuff you know....

Huskers had a terrible defeat yesterday and the whole State is in Remorse...... Colorado toyed with us for 4 quarters and then lowered the boom...... Cornville is not happy today....

Get out and get it done Guru's ...... time waits for no man.......

Pushrods are all straight. Already checked with a v-block and feeler gauge.

Just checking in,
Good to know that things here seem to be going as well as they can be, for their respective circumstances.
I hope everyone has a much better week this week.

Hey guys, slept in until almost 10. Then we headed down to the storage shed to mow, trim and spray. Once done with that, I dropped 007 down and worked on the lights in the back that didn't work....the drivers side reverse light and the third brake light. I was informed they weren't working when we were in BG by one of the other guys we were there with (not Marcus). Apparently, When I installed the ZR1 spoiler, I never plugged the third brake light in...easy fix. The Reverse light, when I pulled it out was bent over weirdly. I had installed LEDs and I apparently knocked it out of the socket when re-installing it...so another, basically easy fix.

After that we went over to the 'city' for groceries and meeting with GS#1 and his GF. They just moved over there and Rosie wanted to take them out to eat and buy them some groceries. By the time we got that done, came home, unloaded and put things away it was 8:30....now I'm soaking my feet, but I'm ready for bed.

Prayers still coming your way Gris. Matt, glad the engine isn't any worse than it is. Marcus, There's always next week.
