Up at normal time today. Quite chilly, 19 now and only headed toward the upper 20s....maybe 30. Low tonight in the single digits.

Headed to the shop to assemble the kennel. I got the white lacquer sprayed on the required pieces yesterday.

I trust all of you will have a productive day.

Hopefully not productive on my end. I'm too tired. Up way early for a 7:45 appointment for presurgery stuff. Older nurse so I figured this would be quick and painless. NOOOO. She can't find the vein in my right arm even though I told her right where it is. She "finds" an adjacent one and sticks it for nothing. She starts "thinking she can find" the one I told her when I finally said "here just use the back of my hand and save us both the trouble". She said but that hurts worse, and I said, "so does repeated sticks for nothing and wallering a needle around in me".
Pool people finally came yesterday after I got snotty with the gal at the facility. They were due LAST Monday. Might have to do another drain and fill this spring to which I said they could pay for the water/chemicals and crap. I have been having an out of body experience every time I try to deal with them, with a full on anxiety attack yesterday. Funeral visitation last night for the dad of someone I know.
Hoping for a calm day today. Spent the weekend pilerfing around the hills around here just getting away from everything. Hope all is well with you all. Prayers for your SIL Tee, hope all goes well.

Sue's office gal quit on Friday. She was a little overwhelmed with the job sometimes and Sue is not the easiest person to work for. Lets just say Sue lets her thoughts be known. So, how does that affect me?

Ring ........ Ring ...

1 hour on Sunday, 1 1/2 hours yesterday and 5 hours of nursery sitting today. I WAS enjoying my last couple of months. Made use of my 5 hours today by washing two of the work trucks and did fluid checks on three plus a few this and that items. The woman quitting doesn't bode well for me I'm thinking.

uh.....maybe you can offer her more money to stick with it.....a lot more money.....beats having to train someone else.......

Cold cloudy and more snow on the way..... I am not mentally prepared for all this yet.... hell I may never be prepared...... everything I love needs warm weather to do..... how is this happening already....hell just put up the Christmas tree and lets get that started..... geez....

Now VB...... you need to stay away from the negative vibes and realize you can only do the best you can with what you have to work with. There comes a point when we have to decide.....do we own the stuff or does it own us?
Ok.....Let's do our Jedi calming techniques shall we?....
Breath in for a 4 or 5 count...... now hold it to 9 or 10 and then breath out slowly until you get to like 15 or 16. Now take a shot of Jim Beam......now do the breathing thing again....and repeat until you are all relaxed and feeling real good..... Those Jedi knew what they were doing....

Well, spent all day in the shop, thought I was going to be able to finish the kennel, got as far as mounting the doors and found that I had mis-figured the size....well, CRAP! Not as bad as it could have been, just set me back a bit....should finish it up tomorrow.

It was pretty chilly all day. Never got above freezing.

Don't acquire stuff unless your ready to go the distance necessary to keep it. You know, like classic or antique cars, sports cars, shops, tools, garages, pools, ponds, homes, gardens, pets plus others. I'm just a steward. I'm not taking any of this stuff with me when I go.
