Good Morning CGs!

I've been absent for a few days. I apologize for that.

Sunday night I was driving home on the highway and I heard little explosion in the back. I ran over something and popped the rear tire on the Accord. Luckily I have a tire warranty which covered that. But of course I replace tires in pairs so it still cost me about a hundred and ninety bucks to get the other one. Oh well, they needed to be replaced anyway.

That took up the morning on Monday. On Tuesday I was able to get the Corvette over to my mom's house for winter storage. So that is tucked away and sleeping for the winter. I also rototilled some fertilizer (manure) into the garden and got the grass cut. Overall a productive day.

Woke up Wed morning and had some nasty slushy snow on the ground. So I guess I got lucky moving the car.

Today is Halloween. They are predicting cold weather and a rainy snow mix. Sucks for the kids. Not sure how much trick or treating will get done.

Hope everyone has a great day!

MORNING MATT

IT'S WINDY AND COLD IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, LOOKS LIKE IT'S TRYING TO CLEAR OFF. WE DIDN'T GET MUCH FREEZE HERE, BUT TAHLEQUAH EVIDENTLY DID.

GOT TO MAKE ANOTHER EFFORT TO FIND A BD PRESENT FOR BABY DAUGHTER; I'M RUNNING OUT OF TIME. IF THE MONSOON HAS ABATED I WILL DO A BELATED AUTO ROTATION, THOUGH IT HARDLY SEEMS WORTH THE EFFORT. I FEEL SORRY FOR MATT AND YOU OTHERS WHO HAVE TO ENDURE A CORVETTE-LESS WINTER.

Trick or treating here lasts from 06:00 to about 06:30 but a few more little ones have moved into he area. Might have up to 20 tick or treaters this year .... Or not. After dark I shut off the lights and go watch tv in the family room. For some reason, Sue, who loves kids, can never be found at home on Halloween.
Got a late start on the caulking yesterday but as I stated yesterday, once I got started it moved right along. Plan on getting an earlier start today. Should get the 90 back tomorrow and with a updated cooling system and a new slave cylinder and oil change. She should be ready for some winter cruising. Get the 91 stereo and alarm short issue resolved and it will be cruisable as well. The Porsches except the 928 are both very roadworthy as they sit waiting for an ass to plop into the seat.
Time for a nice hot shower, then lather on some Bengay. Top it off with sunscreen and it will be time to get moving again.

Morning guys....It's a bit chilly this morning, 7 when I grabbed my cup of coffee, all the way up to 9 now, but a south breeze and clear sky, is supposed to bring warm air and a high of low 50s is expected.

Not a lot planned for today. Once it warms a bit, I'll go out and spray some finish on the top of the kennel. I also need to clean the shop.

With the moderating temps, we will probably have quite a few T or T'ers. I'm prepared for 300.

300 is about the norm here....if it is really cold it might be down to 200, if it is pretty warm, like last year, it was right at 400.

We dont' get many kids but we do have a few. I neglected to get the spooky stuff out this year but I did buy candy to hand out. Might put on a flannel shirt, worn jeans, workboots and my mask and hand out stuff. Or let Arron do it, he gets in the mood for that some. The nursing home is having a trunk or treat thing and painting resident's faces and such. I took her a witch hat, mask and cape for whateve they want to do. She's still bed bound but wants to participate so residents that can't leave the rooms the staff is supposed to take kids to the rooms. I took her candy and what not this morning before work.
The SEMA truck got done today, of course to me it's a jacked up mess since we were so rushed. A piece that needed printed for under the bakc glass ended up having a patch piece used, the roof was 6" too narrow, the kid measured for me since I could not get up there the way he had it on stands and he measured the wrong points. Figures, so more patches and then he changes his mind on a couple of things, etc. It looked okay but obviously a rush job, just hope they have it sitting driver's side out as that side is put on correctly. My owner put the passengerside, up front angled upward too much and a logo isn't where I want it to be. I'm probably the only one to notice crap like that.
Also, the kid has red wheels on it and they're supposed to be a blue/chrome combo and mirrors aren't installed so pics aren't great

I USED TO ENJOY T OR T'RS WHEN WE LIVED IN LAWTON. OUT HERE IN THE COUNTRY WE DON'T HAVE ANY. AROUND HERE THE RURAL PEOPLE TAKE THEIR KIDS TO HALLOWEEN DO AT THE CHURCHES OR SCHOOLS.

IT CLEARED OFF ABOUT NOON BUT STAYED WINDY AND COLD. GOT A NICE RING FOR BABY DAUGHTER; SO THAT'S TAKEN CARE OF. I'LL GET THE TOMATO'S OIL CHANGED IN THE MORNING AND PUT HARVEY IN THE READY RACK.

HAPPY SAMHAIN TO ALL!

I just had a few, of course the dog has to stick her nose out to see who it is. Kids petted the dog and more interested in her than the candy. One asked "can I have one of those?"

Had 11 kids. That's it. VB, those red wheels gotta go. Black, blue but IMO not red. Not a fan of the white bumpers either.
