Sometimes I look at what year it is with disbelief. 2019. Unbelievable. Wait till the 2020's roll in.

Speaking of that .... Whenever I see the rockers of the 60'and 70's still doing stage performances I become optimistic. I figure if they they can do what they do after doing what they've done, I've still got a good shot of living through another decade.

We are starting a warming trend here...be in the 40's today and heading for the 50's by the weekend.... I cannot complain about dat....

took my mechanic out for for lunch at the Mexican food place yesterday. He does an excellent job on my vehicles and I'm finding I am having him do more and more these days the older I get. We had a great chat about the old days.....

With the cold snap over its back to work soil testing..... have a bodacious day Guru's......

Just checking in. We’ve got the crummy weather here in Dayton too.
I live south of I-70, and for some reason the weather gets worse at that line. The weather folk even tell us things like,” ...and if you’re north of I-70, you’re gonna get it even worse!”
And we’ve got the low temps as well.
Otherwise, it’s work, work, work...

Hey guys....I was out of the house early so I could get a start on hanging the cabinets. By the time the other two got there, I had the high spots located and tops of base cabinets and bottom of uppers located. I had a couple items that needed attention at my shop, so I put the other two to work installing the top hinge plate and drawer slides, while I did that. Actually started the hanging of the cabinets about 9:45 and by 11:30 had the upper in place. When 'mom' came in a little after that and saw the progress, she nearly cried (tears of joy).

Was a pretty chilly start, but warmed up enough that, when we were in the garage, I was in short sleeves...all the way up to 68*, but the north breeze made it feel a bit cooler.

Headed back tomorrow to install the bathroom vanity and mount drawer boxes.

I'm with you too, Tommy, WHERE DID THIS YEAR GO?
