May your day be filled with joy and laughter. Be thankful for the bountiful gifts we have received. Hopefully have a good stiff drink and a nice post dinner snooze in the recliner.

Morning guys...I got up at regular time. About 2" of snow on the ground, still snowing a little, off and on. I have the turkey on the grill. Not up to freezing yet and will just barely get above at the peak. Doesn't matter, we will be staying inside for the majority of the day.

Rosie is working on the dressing, #3 and family are lounging around, #2 and family will be over later, they are doing a deep fried turkey.

I hope and pray that you and yours are having a wonderful day. Watching football, the parades or whatever.

Happy Thanksgiving, all!

Ivelis and I got up and ran a very informal neighborhood turkey trot 5K (roads open, timing on your own) this morning. It was cold and windy, and I wasn't particularly fast—average pace was 10:23 a mile.

In an hour or so, we'll pick up my parents and take them to the first Thanksgiving at my middle sister's newly purchased home. They're in a little more dense area than ours and have no driveway to speak of, so I'm sweating the parking. We'll figure it out.

I'll check in late afternoon/early evening. Safe travels if you are among the 55 million the AAA thinks will travel 50 miles or more this year.

I find like Gris that staying out of the way is sound advice......

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. What’s left of it anyhow. I hope everyone ate well, farted loud and napped good.
Got up and finished my cooking, we loaded up and went to aunts house. While I was cooking Arron decided to get at the back decking area with the loud leaf blower. He figures everyone always ruins his quiet time so he’d ruin theirs today. The hood appeared vacant however. Rained some today made for good naps. Took food to her for supper at the nursing home and picked up the heat/air window unit we bought for her that they’ve apparently ruined.
House cleaning commences tomorrow.
