2020 IS STARTING OFF CLEAR AND NOT-SO-COLD IN THE NATIONS. THE CHEROKEES ARE STILL ASLEEP.
I POLISHED OFF THE LEFTOVER EGGNOG FROM CHRISTMAS AND SET UP READING UNTIL THE OLD YEAR WAS GONE. DARLING WIFE FLAKED OUT AND WENT TO BED ABOUT 1100. IT'S A WILD LIFE WE LEAD AROUND HERE. We went to a gathering for dinner and fortunately everyone there were Trumpsters....... so no loud yelling and fist fights to bring in the new year...... kinda boring actually...... we came home around 10 and soon the wife went to bed and I fell asleep in the big chair watching some movie as the new year came forth........ boring is good....
today some football games and naps and other thrilling stuff..... now I better get out to the kitchen and help clean up the dishes that have piled up..... part of my new years resolutions you know.... Peddle to the metal Guru's..... |

Morning guys....It's pretty chilly this morning, started out in the upper teens, 34 now, but headed to mid 50s. Sunny and clear. We slept in until 9. Nothing too exciting for us last night either, went to bed about 11 when we were both falling asleep in our recliners.
Rosie is putting Christmas away today. I trust that you all have a great 2020. |

Happy New Year, all. I stayed up for midnight, but didn't make it for that much longer. Got up at a reasonable time this morning and ran in flurries. Now watching hockey and football. |

Happy new year! Me and gal pals held on till about 2. Enough snacks to outfit an army easily. We left it all there so the adult son should be fed for a few days. Tried to nap but ineffective. Did manage to get in the traditional New Year’s Day feast however
