Gurus are always welcome. I only let people drive the cars that can afford to replace them . ;) Party? Bring whatever you wish to eat and drink. I'll fire up the fire pit.

Brad methinks would be highly proud of his Vikings accomplishment this year. BillH would have thought it a waste of time. Thinking of Andy Minnich as well. Andy owned the red and white Corvette in the C5 pic above in the Guru welcome page . Of course that is BillH's 67 in the olden days when it ran.

Heading to the trap range for a couple hours. When I get back I will find out what my son did to my 87 Vet. It will be in blazing heat high as 48 . When I get it started I pray he didn't screw up the new full mass clutch. He had trouble spinning the tires omg
In 5th gear when he stomped on the gas he thinks the clutch slipped
Our new generation does not understand a stick shift or a 383 stroker

Remember a guy that used to post here. He lives in Illinois. I think his name was Mark or Marvin or Matt. Something like that. Younger guy with kids. Anybody remember him?

Well I never got the fuel gauge to work right on the boat. I filled up the tank most of the way so I know I have enough for several short trips. Temp gauge is not working either. All i have to do is monitor the outflow. If it starts steaming , I'm overheating. The bow light is also out of action but I have an emergency battery operated back up. I won't be night fishing anyway. Engine works , steering works, radio's work. I'm going to have to call a boat mechanic and replace my gauges and fix whatever ails it. Shouldn't be a bank breaker since most of the key systems work. LOL Now. I have to see how much fishing Sue wants to do two days out of major foot surgery. I was going to leave the boat home ... but NooOooooooo. We have to bring the boat. "What sense is it to have a boat if you're not gonna use it." she says. My friend has a boat in the water there as well and always wants us to go fishing with him. Keys vacation in one week. Only four things to do in the Keys. Fishing, eating, f@(%ing and drinking ... and I don't drink.

Good Evening CGs!

I'm still alive and kicking. Unfortunately with my work schedule and the kids and everything else I don't check in as much as I should. And not being Corvette weather puts a damper on things. I did get to visit sleeping beauty the other day when I was at my mom's house doing some little jobs.

I'm ready for driving weather to start. I'll probably be switching my car over to antique vehicle plates this year. No reason other than they are cheaper since the state just raised the price of our passenger plates as of January 1st. Gotta love Democrats.

Tommy, I'm taking you up on the offer to drive the 911. Always wanted to.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

I’m still here too! Still putting in a lot of hours. Only a couple weeks until the weekend. I like second shift still. It’s nice when all the “authority “( AKA white people) leaves for the day. Then we can settle in and get stuff done.
