Which crimper are you refering to? The micro-pack and metri-pack ones or the weather-pack ones ?

Now that you mentioned that I need to make a post that I can construct just about any harness for GM cars/trucks....

I am not sure... whatever fits the GM standard... it's that wacky double folded thing.

do one better, do a tech tip on how to fix harnesses!!!!! Take some pics, add some text, we turn it into something wonderful.

I want those tools so I can do harness modifications and such.

You'll need both (about $300.00 for both sets). The difference is the seal on the back end of the connectors. I'll send you details in a PM and I'll contact my rep to see if I can get you a full Delphi connector catalog (it's worth it's weight in gold alone).
