CLOUDY AND COOL IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, MORE RAIN ON THE WAY. OH JOY :-(

YESTERDAY TURNED INTO A NICE DAY AFTER THE FOG LIFTED, SUNNY AND 60. DARLING WIFE STILL HAVING DENTAL PROBLEMS; CAP FELL OFF THE TOOTH WITH THE NEWEST ROOT CANAL.

NOTHING MUCH ON THE AGENDA TODAY, I'LL RUN SOME ERRANDS IN THE RAIN.

KEEP UP THE FIRE, GURUS---

Good Morning CGs!

Weather is cold here. Not sure what changed but I had a massive sinus headache and I couldn't sleep last night. Woke up pretty groggy. Feel better today but tired.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Ugly, misty and dark and dreary here today. I see where a coupld of yous is/was sick. Get well soon - Matt, same here. Not sure if flu with a sinus infection overlap or just wicked horrible sinus infection. Was busy as crap all last week, then never felt good, scratchy throat then hit like a truck Friday, Sat and Sunday didn't much get off the couch. Felt ok yesterday, went to town to pick up a vintage panther lamp I had rewired then back home and hit like a truck again. WTF. No time for this.
Side note: do those neti pots work? I bought some premix spray stuff, helps for a minute but that's it.

In other news...
This was shared by a friend in anotner fourm I belong to. The customer was a client of TPS Motorsports, this was in San Jose, CA. Car trashed over a simple Trump sticker on the back.
What have we come to that people feel the need to do crap like this over just a bumper sticker? Really? I mean, demand folks tolerate their viewpoint but refuse to tolerate anyone else's? Spout words like 'acceptance of all", "tolerance" etc, yet do crap like this? I do not get it.

Hhmmm. Fix the windows and top then drive it. Make a moving Trump support vehicle. Must have been done by a left wing socialist or an out of touch liberal Democrat.

Not sure if I will vote for Trump but I know I won't be voting for a Democrat. Bloomberg scares me. Well, lol, they all scare me. It's hard to believe that the first term of The Trump Show is almost over. Will the Show be renewed? Cancelled? Or come back for second season. We shall see soon enough. Keeping the TV off the news shows as much as I reasonably can. Whoever says they will protect human life, support the 2nd amendment, limits government growth, supports a strong border and immigration policy, shrink government spending, support a strong military and a few other topics that don't come to mind right now. It would be a bonus if they kept or could keep any election promises.

"‘Best thing to do is auto-immunize yourself’"

"But with the Centers for Disease Control confirming at least five coronavirus cases in the U.S. Monday, with each case stemming from travelers returning from recent travel to China, Dr. Oz urged Americans to stay calm by highlighting the fact that the virus’ so-far documented 2% mortality rate trails the 10% mortality rate of SARS by a wide margin.

“I’m not handing out masks, I don’t think people oughta be wearing them,” he said. “The best thing to do is auto-immunize yourself by washing your hands and I know that sounds so simple and almost dumb to mention, but we touch our fingers to our face thousands of time a day. And the most common way we’ll get infected is someone coughs and the droplets land on the armrest and I put my hand there 10 minutes, an hour later without knowing you were sick and then I touch my nose and it gets into my mouth.”"

Het guys.....A long busy day. Got up normal time, ate a little breakfast, went out to the shop and gathered tools for to start the building project at the church hall. Four other guys showed up to help. I had it all figured out what needed to be done before we started and that eliminated a lot of headaches. We got all the framing done by 4:30pm. 57 feet of wall and 3, 13 foot divider walls all about 9 1/2 feet tall. Took me about an hour to unload and put everything away.

Oh, we had about 8" of WET snow overnight. But it warmed up by mid-afternoon and was melting away pretty fast. We needed the moisture.
