CLEAR, CALM, AND COLD IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, LOOKS LIKE A PRETTY DAY COMING UP, BUT THE RAINS RECOMMENCE TOMORROW. THEY SAY THIS HAS BEEN THE WETTEST WINTER IN RECORDED HISTORY FOR EASTERN OKLAHOMA. DON'T KNOW HOW FAR BACK RECORDED HISTORY GOES ;-)
THE CHEROKEES ARE DISGUSTED, NOT TO MENTION DAMP.

STILL FLOUNDERING AROUND IN THE GUNROOM, GOT ALL THE RELOADED AMMO SORTED OUT AND STOWED AWAY. THREE DRAWERS AND THE CLOSET TO GO---

THINKING ABOUT AN H&I VISIT TO OKMULGEE IF DARLING WIFE CAN TEAR HERSELF AWAY. IF NOT THERE'S ALWAYS THE FLEA MARKET.

Morning guys....Clear and seasonably cool this morning. 24 now but headed to the mid 50s. It's Rosie's birthday today. She is sleeping in a bit.

I got a message from Marcus, he says he is going to be AWOL for a while, as his step father "is on the doorstep to heaven". He is in the 'little apple' with him and his mom. He'll let me know as things progress. Please think about Marc and his family the next few days.

My biggest Koi was swimming around in obvious distress last night. Breathing heavily. This fish would easily cost over $1000 at the hatchery. Went out this morning and found it had died. Pulled it out and I saw a tail in it's mouth. Turns out he had swallowed a Pleco, a suckermouth catfish that was a little to big for it to swallow and got lodged in its throat. I try to care for my critters as best I can but some things you just have no control over. I try not to bond too much with the animals but I end up bonding anyway. I know the Koi pretty much by their markings and often look at them to see how they're doing. Even watch over the the other species in the pond. Plecos, cichlids, fresh water shark and a couple of random others. LOL I have too many interests. Always have and always will.
