I have two cruises booked for May and December. Though I am not looking to add to my cruise portfolio I am thinking of putting some dollars into my investment portfolio. Carnival Cruise Line stock is tanking as are other cruise line stocks. 100 shares gets you $100 on board credit on a non discounted cruise and some discounted ones up through the middle of 2021. It will probably continue that way for awhile as it has been routine for quite some time now. Not only that I feel the long term outlook for the cruise industry is good. CCL sold at a high of $57. Right now at $22. I put some money into a Merrill Edge account. If and when it dips below $20 methinks 100 shares of CCL should be mine. Buy low and sell high, right? I have too much in secure investments like savings accounts that don't pay $#!+. Need to expose myself to a little risk. I actually hope the stock market takes a dive so I can reinvest some money that I sent to safe haven back in 2011. I don't know what I'm worried about though. I have enough to supplement my income comfortably for 10 years. I'd like to make it 15 though. Always better to have too much than too little.

Morning guys...cloudy this morning, but warm, 47 and headed to the mid to upper 60s. Supposed to bring some moisture, in the form of rain and maybe some snow, tonight into tomorrow and the weekend, as the temps are supposed to drop like rocks tonight.

We are headed to KC today for the weekend.

That job, Tommy, should keep you busy for a while...just what you were hoping for....right?

Tommy you just reminded me I need to visit my money guy. I got a letter the other day that one of mine bankrupted. Zero value. There went a thousand dollars. I don't have much anyway but that was a hit to me. I know others have it worse by comparison.
I was not able to make the agriculture trailer's images work therefore they sent me plan B yesterday. I'll get those in the printer today and move on to one of a dozen other projects currently on my desk. Also, the owner called me, thanked me for catching the low resolution issue as it would result in a rewrap. $10,000 worth. They're an hour north of me yet contract to a designer from Nashville. They offered that position to me. He said he will be here in person next week to discuss. Geez. I'm flattered but by no means want to take food from another so to speak.
Dreary, foggy, humid and rainy here today and they're hollering for stomrs and tornadoes later. Arron will be at work out of town so I'll not only worry about him driivng home in hail and high winds but I'll have a 13 year old shaking lab in my lap at the house I'm guessing.
Y'all chase the day before it gets away

Good Evening CGs!

Tommy, with as many cruises as you take I thought you already owned stock in the cruise lines?

John, jealous of the photo for two reasons: one, you got the car out for the spring and two, your wife actually likes your car!

Still on the fence about the whole coronavirus pandemonium. Fact / fiction? Media blowing everything out of proportion? Not sure. Seems like a lot more precaution than the previous swine flu, Sars, etc. We can only wait and see.

Hope everyone had a great day!

I won't be here early on the 13th but I thought I'd let you in a something. Sue has to be at the outpatient surgical unit for eyelid surgery tomorrow the 13th. The doctor originally requested a procedure that was denied by the insurance company. The doctor and Sue requested a review and the the approval came back. It was two hours AFTER Sue had her eye lid surgery. So on the 13th I'll be taking Sue in for yet another surgery. She had nerve damage to the left side of her face back in the 1989 accident, her right eyelid only partially closes. They want to put in a gold weight to aid her lid in closing some. The last surgery they cut and pulled skin around the eye because she was losing her peripheral vision. This will be her 89th surgery. You read that right. 89th surgery over her lifetime. I've been through about 84 of them. Her foot has still not fully healed. The eye doctor was pulling stitches out of her head from her December eye surgery earlier this week. Sue goes through so much and a terrible amount of pain. Sue usually waits until something is intolerable before she seeks surgical relief. Can't say I blame her. It's been a long tough row to hoe ... for both of us.
