Hopefully the red, red robin is bob,bob bobbin' along.

Still in high avoidance mode here at the compound. However Sue is out and about so she puts me at risk everyday. She came to give me a kiss yesterday and I told her "No way". Come back and ask me in a few weeks. Funny, I routinely TRY to stay home as much as I can but when I'm forced to stay home it seems like some sort of punishment. The virus is primarily north of us but many Homesteaders commute to Miami and many are also health care workers. A teller at the bank yesterday was sick with something. When Sue asked her about it the teller said "I don't know. Maybe allergies.". Sue got a hold of the manager and told them that just ain't right to have someone sick working the tellers position. Also the people in line were not practicing social distancing even though there were markers on the floor showing everybody where they should stand. Everybody was all bunched up in the line. Sue straightened the line out quick.

HI TOMMY

CLOUDY AND MILD IN THE NATIONS, RAIN LOOMING. THE CHEROKEES ARE RESIGNED.

DARLING WIFE AND #3 ARE STILL ASLEEP. THIS WILL BE THE FIRST FULL DAY OF HOME CARE. ONE OF THE NEIGHBORS BROUGHT CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS YESTERDAY EVENING, ENOUGH FOR ALL FIVE PRESENT.

IF THE RAIN WOULD STAY AWAY I COULD GET SOME YARD WORK OUT OF #3, BIG KID, STRONG AS A BULL. HE'LL BE DOING HIS CLASS WORK ON LINE, DON'T KNOW WHAT THAT WILL AMOUNT TO.

Morning guys...Slept until 8 and haven't done much since. Nothing really on the agenda....Rosie is hinting that we should go over to the 'city' for a few groceries.

The weather is cloudy and cool. Even had a shower sometime in the night. Hopefully will clear up later.

We have not been told to "stay at home" yet. And locally (our community is about 2000 people) a few 'boomers' put together a "Cruise Saturday Night". They did this last Saturday, but we didn't hear about it soon enough to participate. They wanted to show the youngsters how us older guys did socializing 'back in the day'. Yesterday, they said they were going to do it again this evening. Just "dragging Main", honking horns and driving around...keeping our 'social distance', but getting out of the house. I plan to get the Corvette out this time. And if the weather permits, popping the top and cranking the tunes.....Just saw the forecast, the top may stay on, as it is not going to warm up much.....darn!

No one has the virus in our county yet.....which is good since the hospital here only has 1 test for it and no ventilators..... we be in the sticks ya....

cold cloudy dreary and homebound....... our supplies are holding up well..... plenty of TP........ as long as the internet stays up for streaming we are good to go...... if the internet went down nationwide there would be chaos ..........

Have a safe day Guru's....

Good afternoon, all.

Glad to know that darling wife is home, Gris. Best wishes for quick healing.

A wash out today; not unexpected for late March. We're going to watch the IndyCar virtual race at 4:00 PM EST—the normal NBC broadcast crew will be hosting.

We don't have a confirmed case within 100 miles, but the Governor declared, as of Monday noon, a "Stay at home" order. Rosie and I headed over to the 'city' to pick up a few essentials. It was freaking crazy over there.... I'll do my best to not leave for the next three weeks (stating Monday noon). I'm still planning on cruising tonight...at least they haven't canceled that....yet.

Just doing a bit-o-catchin up. Gris, sorry the missuz got hurt, but at least now she’s home.
I work for a company the makes shock absorber, so for now, still working. But now I’m on a 40/wk schedule. I’m so used to being there 6-7 days a week that I’m not sure how to handle being home so much.
Everyone be safe and healthy.

Good evenin.
Hope y'all are good. Overdid myself way too much two days in a row in the yard, so did't check in. I hurt in places I didn't know I could. Got up today to go to the office and work, another person was to be there also. I couldn't get in. Left ran an errand or two, came back and still locked up. messaged the mgr and he said the other dude was supposed to be there. I came on home and slept all afternoon. Woke up to a horrific tornado near my office, leveled a lot of the town. The mall is within walking distance of my office, it tore up our street there but managed to miss us and a few others.
Had I been there I'd have drove home in the path of it (demolished airport, etc). All things for a reason and I feel like nobody being at work to let me in was God's way of having me home safe.
Corona woes continue here. Arron has the "trump" letter for them to be essential, I do not. And I was told that Wednesday we will have a lockdown area wide for 2 weeks unless essential.
Stimulus things are supposed to cover freelancers, gig workers and contractors so hopefully I'll be covered.
Anyway, y'all take care
